This guy also damaged many vehicles in the parking lot before he decided to become Jason without the chainsaw. Coming to a theater near you. Did any of you buy extra popcorn for all of this?

Nope. The man stated to the Police they would have to kill him, but the situation was de-escalated. I would guess it would be appropriate to deem him sane and release him back into the general "pop" immediately.

Officers found the suspect near the 2100 block of NE Weidler Street. Police said they told him to stop and drop the saw but he refused and told officers he was going to make them shoot him.

The man walked into the middle of traffic, then started moving toward the officers while yelling at them while still holding the saw, police said. After several warnings, police used a less-lethal munition and the man dropped the saw. Officers started talking to him to try and calm him down but several bystanders interrupted by screaming and taunting the officers, the PPB said. This only made the suspect more upset, according to police.

Officers said they kept talking calmly and listening to the man and he was eventually taken safely into custody.

Yeah, she took a hit to what looked like the face, or at least grazed her hair. The other woman looks like she took a blow to the arm.

Appears to be for wood that saw.....not the most dangerous of items. Nonetheless, due to that fact, I say just give the guy a break. Perhaps, he can reassess and commit a more gruesome crime tomorrow?

Is there a chance he was a member of CHAZ/CHOP that was in Seattle and he was just trying to keep "CHOP" alive by doing this? Or, did he lose CHOP "payoff to leave Seattle" money on the NBA preseason game last night and now he is broke again?
