Not sure how the 17 year old is relevant. Age of consent in Texas is 17 ? I fooled around with a 17 when I was 24 it wasn’t a big deal I wasn’t even close to her first and she knew what she was doing and it was legal. I don’t know where cutoff should be but if she broke law with 16 year olds she should be punished just like a man would or change law for everyone.

I think we all know how much the world has changed and how mature 'kids' are.

Teens know these days they can sleep with an adult and they will suffer no consequences, but the person of age can or will.

Time to make some changes with this law.

Start making rulings on how mature someone is and not based solely on age.

We know boys are going to eventually brag about it to their friends.

Young girls are more likely to keep their mouths shut.

Bottom line is this topic is popular enough these days that students know its wrong, AND they know that its risk-free for them while the teachers/adults will pay the price.

Times have changed & so should some laws
