It's not like the total deaths will jump to 300,000. It might wind up being like 240,000 for instance as 60,000 of the covid deaths may have been people checking out this year anyway. Still sucks, but that needs to be considered.

it is an interesting take. not every person who passes away from covid would have made it thru with their health issues for the year. covid unfortunately sped up the process. this is my worry if my parents, especially my father, have to battle this.

Agreed, it's very scary. And don't get me wrong, I take the covid very seriously on a personal level as far as protecting myself and my family from getting it and making preparations to boost the effectiveness of our fight should we contract it. I've personally known 2 people who landed in the ICU. Fortunately, both made it out.

The pussification in the U.S. is alarming. We went from nothing to fear but fear itself to fear everything even if it isn't a threat.

Not saying covid isn't killing people but, give me life or give me death is real and if I have to sit at home again for another 3 months, I doubt that will happen.
