With the explosion of new Covid 19 cases in the south coupled with the unashamedly doctored numbers of several states, getting a handle on where the likelihood of “surviving” the Coronavirus is best achieved is both an important and difficult question to answer. A ton of variables, like public health resources, hospital bed and ICU availability, etc. contribute to survivability, and not all states are equal by any means; and the masked and twisted data offered by unscrupulous political leaders makes the numbers used by the CDC ballpark at best. Nevertheless, based on the current “reported” numbers, the chart below gives a picture of relative survivability among southern states. (Bottom line: If you live in Louisiana, you might think about moving to Montana for a year or so.)
