Deaths are down. Arizona got a spike in cases . How many people are hospitalized in Arizona?

    Let me know.

The media is hyping up the cases going up and I'm telling you it's because the amount of testing has gone up. It's all relevant to the case increases. Deaths are down. That's fact.

How is it a 2? Airline travel is down 90 percent from a year ago. When the airlines are able to fire people on Oct. 1, they're going to can probably 20,000 or so, maybe more. The hotel and rental car industries have no business. Back in April, Orlando gave out a stat that said during the same week a year ago, 91 percent of all the hotels in the city were occupied; this year, that same week, it was 14 percent. Add in the highest number of unemployed people in 90 years and it's obvious this has had a much greater impact on the country than you're estimating. Oh, and we're at 114,000 deaths, headed for 200,000.

let's see what the daily death toll is in about two weeks, because the spike in cases will have some serious cases and those will pass away. right now we are still under 1000 deaths a day consistently which is a huge improvement (sounds strange saying it) from recent weeks when it was 1500 to 2000 deaths a day

Economics are global and so is this virus. It was the worst week for new cases world wide.
I shudder to think what Africa will look like in a few months, 1.2 Billion people. A third are illiterate with no health care facilities.
No, this is more than 2/10

Where is the HIV charts? That is a virus too, I think? That won't go away either, but for some reason this Corona is top news daily. Do we really need another BLM tragedy to stop the Corona news for another 3 weeks?

Get ready to be treated like shit when you’re 60 even if you’re vibrant as penetrate And have committed your life to working hard, paying your taxes, raising a family, etc. won’t matter because the young people like Jibby says he needs his beach time and doesn’t want to be held down by the liberals. Can you imagine if your life was in the hands of people like Jibby?
I agree, this is my same thinking.

Not towards Jibby though, just the points you made.

First of all, just because you're 50, 60, or 70, doesn't mean you should get a death sentence when you could have 10-40 more years of life?

Second of all, it's younger ppl too that get sick and die, and this newer things with kids continues to spread also.

And they are also seeing more & more animals get it and although they don't think the animals can pass it around, they aren't positive.

It's simply not something we should just scoff at and laugh off.

              It's not a hoax, it's real.

I've already suggested on here in the past that just because you THINK you're fairly healthy and can't be affected by it, you are wrong.

I know 3 ppl personally, and younger, no visible underlying conditions, and they suffered for weeks & weeks, 2 on their death bed before they came through, one still dealing with it, and the other 2 STILL having symptoms, just not nearly as bad.

Why do so many ppl think that these statistics/numbers from all of the states are just made up??

I read somewhere yesterday just what I've been saying all along to the likes of:

"2nd Wave Of Covid? No, we're still stuck in the 1st"

About 16,000 people die in US from HIV/AIDS in a year. COVID has taken out 100,000 in 3 months and still rising.
This is news, like it or not. It is the story of the century and it is just warming up. The worst is way ahead.

115,000 with only 5-10% of the country infected. What will the number be when it's 50% infected? 400k+ at least I imagine.

And HIV isn't spread by someone breathing near me. I can live my life normally and be 100% confident I will never contract HIV.

Cases....hospitalizations....death. In that order. So if cases are spiking over the last week, we won't see that truly reflected in numbers for hospitalization for 1-2 weeks and deaths in 4-6 weeks. So keep an eye on it.

Calm down, Corona virus is running it's course and fading out. We may be experiencing a small little final spike wave now but nothing to be alarmed about. I'm predicting Corona will be completely gone at the end of this summer here in the States.

Several restaurants here are closing temporarily because they have employees that got sick.

I’ll just keep going to the ones that are open.

They probably already had it and didn’t know until they offered all the drive through testing they are doing now.

Really? There is no seasonal flu now. But there is covid. Clearly not the same. Yes, it will ebb and flow. But current evidence proves that it is not seasonal like the flu.

true, these rankings arent consistent. restaurant, indoor dining is the same as bars buffets. beaches are safe, as long as no one gets right up in your face.

State reported we have 2,242 people in hospitals with lab-confirmed COVID (not suspected cases) - that is: up by 76 people since yesterday. Up 420 from one week ago Up 731 since Memorial Day

As it turns out, the whole country shutdown based on NY timeline. And it worked to help NY. Now Covid is nothing in NY but it's bigger than ever in Texas, Florida, etc. They didn't need to to be shutdown in March and April. But they need to be shutdown now.
