I do listen to him on a normal basis. He will still say that Trump has been one of the best interviewees but he doesn't like his politics. He is usually pretty fair in what he's talking about on the Air. He isn't far left at all like CNN.
And I do agree, that he has given up a lot of his entertainment factor. Only has occasional prank calls. Takes vacations every other week. Relies on his interviews. He knows he's been carrying Sirius XM on his shoulders since early 2000's so he's pretty comfortable where he's at and his current contract is up within a year. I still listen in car. Show does just fine. If what he is talking about doesn’t entertain me, I flip the channel. Mel should be blowing Howard. Sirius/xm would’ve gone under without Howard. His show has changed for sure but he has grown as a person. If he was still doing the same show he did in 90s, it would be an act.
