Now, I am not anti-gun. I am anti assault rifle for anyone except SWAT and military.

I am also against any citizen shooting another citizen dead when they pose not threat to shooter. That is just me though.

Sam, have no interest in getting into a gun debate, but I will try to answer your question.
Single action rifles, shotguns, and handguns should be enough for any true sportsman or any need for home protection.
Of course, this means all those semi and full auto, bump stock, yada yadas would have to be completely off the market for bad guys as well.
Caught with one, mandatory jail. World would be a better place. Just my humble opinion.

Not to start a gun debate, but Madison wrote in his Federalist Papers (the basis for the constitution) that the States should arm individuals for the purpose of defeating oppression.

If the State or Federal government gets an exclusive use of force, then we are, by definition, oppressed.

It is why the 2nd ammendment has withstood and why it becomes a very slippery slope when contemplating the State restricting individual rights for it's own benefit.

Zero chance these good ol' boys get by on Georgia's Stand your Ground Law. Stand your Ground Law is not justified when you're the initial aggressor. Chasing an unarmed man down the street and blocking his way, stepping out of the pickup while holding a shotgun... because they think Aubrey committed a property crime? They think he stole a weapon a while back from McMichael's car? After Trayvon Martin, this should not slide. You can argue that first shot went off as the victim was running towards the shooter. Where's the threat of death or grievous bodily harm to McMichael? McMichael was scared when Aubrey rushed him? Get out of here. McMichael had the shotgun and all the force in this situation. The 2nd and third shot appear to happen as they are wrestling over the firearm.

Gregory McMichael wasn't fit to hold a gun the last year before he retired. His stubborn ass repeatedly refused to go to training and they took his badge and gun from him and he was suspended. They tell mall security to observe and report. These guys thought it prudent to go try to chase down a suspected property crime offender with shotguns in a pickup truck. Very intelligent and restrained for a guy who spent his career working law enforcement and investigating crimes for the D.A.'s office. These guys are fukked. Better PC the fukk up too.

They had freakin muskets that could barely aim and took a lot of time to reload. I think it’s pretty hilarious to use someone who died 250 years ago in an assault rifle/ gum debate. The constitution is a work of art but seriously outdated. Right up there with the Bible...
