Works for me. I could live with surviving off of roast beef, and curly fries. Throw in some mozzarella sticks for dairy, and we’re halfway there. Fruits, and vegetables be damned. Does Arby’s sauce count as a veggie? Hell, maybe it’s a fruit with the tomato. I’m sure there’s some lettuce to check the vegetable box. We got all the food groups covered. And then we have some bomb ass fruit punch to stay hydrated. Fruit too, would ya look at that. I think I may go apply to Arby’s, now that you mention it. I’ll add 40 pounds in a month, but screw it right. Might as well live my best life in these trying times, as we wait for the world to cease to exist like we once knew it.

#912I got a case of 36 rolls of TP. Quality stuff too. Not that single ply jailhouse crap. Gotta stay comfortable when the world economy is crumbling around you, ya know? I’ll sell it for the right price. I’m cool with using some leaves to clean up. The world didn’t end without TP for the majority of its existence, so I think I can make it.
You really learn a lot about humans when shit like this happens. Talk about first world problems when you have so many dweebs complaining about TP, bottled water, and bleach. That’s why I’m all for survival of the fittest, and a nice cleansing of the weak from society, but I guess that’s something you shouldn’t say out loud, or you look like a savage sociopath lacking empathy. Oh well.Comment -

#920I know it's anecdotal, but my girlfriends Uncle died a little over a week ago at 58 out of nowhere with flu-like symptoms (didn't test positive for flu), respiratory failure, pneumonia symptoms, ultimately organ failure. Never was tested for Coronavirus, but it sounds like that's what he may have had. I think the 38 reported death number is way off.
In addition, my sister works in a hospital and she says people have been dying in her hospital with similar symptoms for weeks, but they've had no test kits, and still to this day do not have test kits and she works at one of the larger hospitals in the southern states. She says the younger people are talking about it over a beer after work, but it's very hush hush and not talked about around the hospital.
I love how people keep saying the media is "blowing it out of proportion" when all of their predictions in the past few weeks have fallen well short of what is actually taking place. If anything, they were taking it too lightly.
This thing is going to kill a lot of people, and may be something we are dealing with forever like the flu. Like a Flu 2.0.
We still don't know what the effects will be on people who don't show symptoms, because apparently it just sits dormant in their system. We might find out the next time these people get any kind of ailment (which we all do at some point in our lives) that this thing will surface and kill your weakened immune system.
This thing will be thinning the herd for sure, which a lot of people have been calling for, for a long time. Maybe it will have some positive side effects by killing off people who drain resources out of our healthcare system. Fcked up way to look at it, but nature has a way of doing that and it's probably been a long time coming.Comment -

Sorry to hear
And yes seems we are learning how slow the response is
It's very alarming how little we are able to test, even now
Shithole countries are putting us to shame in regards to testingComment -
