Cop Still on Payroll Despite Murder Conviction for On-Duty Killing of an Innocent Man

Huntsville, AL — Imagine for a moment that you are a McDonald’s employee who shot and killed a customer who came in to order some fries. Then imagine that you were convicted of murder for killing that customer. Then, imagine that after you were convicted of murder, McDonald’s kept you on the payroll but didn’t require you to come to work.

Obviously, the above scenario would never happen because McDonald’s is a private business and would lose a massive percentage of their customers if they openly employed a man who was convicted of murder. If you are not a private company, however, and are the Huntsville police department, this scenario is standard procedure and is completely fine.

In 2018, officer William Darby shot and killed Jeffrey Parker. He was convicted of murder on Friday and he is still on the payroll.

Darby was charged with killing Parker, 49, at his home in April 2018. Darby shot Parker as he sat in his home with a gun to his own head, talking to another Huntsville police officer, Genisha Pegues who did not see him as a threat. Parker had called 911 and told a dispatcher he planned to shoot himself. The shooting was captured on body camera footage and showed that Darby’s use of force was entirely unjustified.

During the trial, Pegues testified that she was de-escalating the situation when Darby barged in and killed Parker. As the body camera footage showed, Darby grabbed a shotgun from his car, kicked in the door, yelled at his fellow cop to point her gun at Parker and then shot Parker in the face with a shotgun, killing him — all within a few seconds. Parker never once pointed the gun at anyone but himself.

“An innocent man was murdered,” Tim Gann, Madison County’s chief trial attorney, told the jury. “He called for help and he got Ben Darby.”

After being shown the footage and the facts, the jury took a little over two hours to deliver the guilty verdict.

Following Parker’s death in 2018, Darby was placed on desk duty and continued to work despite facing murder charges. On Friday, Darby was convicted of murder for killing Parker and despite this conviction, he is still collecting a paycheck. Instead of firing him, the police chief defended the killer cop.

“We are in the first stages of shock,” Police Chief Mark McMurray said in a statement. “While we thank the jury for their service in this difficult case, I do not believe Officer Darby is a murderer.”

He added, “Officers are forced to make split-second decisions every day, and Officer Darby believed his life and the lives of other officers were in danger. Any situation that involves a loss of life is tragic. Our hearts go out to everyone involved.”

Though he’s been on desk duty since the murder, on Monday, Darby was allowed to go on paid leave after his conviction and is still collecting his taxpayer-funded paycheck. According to city spokeswoman Lucy DeButy, this is completely normal.

“This is the normal process until formal proceedings under the City of Huntsville’s personnel policies and procedures are complete,” she said in a statement.

Imagine not being able to fire a convicted murderer whose salary you pay — this is the situation every taxpayer in Huntsville is currently facing.

According to court records, after Darby became a convicted murderer he then posted a $100,000 bail and walked out of the court room a free, and apparently gainfully employed police officer.

Adding insult to special treatment is the fact that because Darby was cleared by his department after they investigated themselves, the taxpayers were not only forced to pay out a settlement but they were also forced to pay for Darby’s defense team.

Darby is facing a minimum of 20 years in prison and has a sentencing scheduled for July. He is free on bond and currently collecting his taxpayer funded check.

Officials with the City of Huntsville sent WAFF the following statement when asked about Darby’s defense:

"The City’s Legal Department is working to determine the cost of Mr. Darby’s defense. We will get back to you when a figure is available. As to your question about Mr. Darby’s plans to appeal, the City of Huntsville has not made any decisions on this issue. We do not have any information at this time about requests for additional money to be spent on Mr. Darby’s legal defense."

Given that the mayor has already made a statement that Darby should appeal, it is highly possible that this convicted murderer will remain a cop on the taxpayer dime until that appeal, which could also be funded by the taxpayers.

Cop Arrested, Charged with Multiple Felonies Over 1,500 Accusations of Child Rape

Park Forest, IL — As TFTP reports on a regular basis, police officers are constantly in the news for betraying the trust of the communities they serve. Many times they are caught preying on the elderly, or robbing innocent citizens, but perhaps the most disturbing and all too common crimes are when cops prey on children. A Park Forest cop has been charged for allegedly preying on society’s most vulnerable — hundreds of times.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Harry Gillespie Nicholson IV, 47, has been charged with multiple high-level felonies and is currently in custody. A bond was set, but as of the writing of this article, Nicholson remains behind bars.

Nicholson was fired from his job as a Park Forest cop in March after the allegations surfaced. According to police, a victim came forward from Indiana, where Nicholson used to live. The girl reportedly asked her parents to leave the room when she told detectives what Nicholson had done to her as not to upset them.

The girl, who is now 18, told police in March that Nicholson started molesting her when she was just 4-years-old. When she was 12 and old enough to fight back, he began raping her, according to the charges.

According to the affidavit, she didn’t tell her family out of fear of what Nicholson may do and didn’t want them to get hurt. She told police that over the course of 14 years, she estimated Nicholson raped her around “1,500” times, according to the affidavit.

After the girl and her family moved to Lowell in 2018, Nicholson reportedly raped her twice a week amounting to “hundreds of times,” the victim said, according to court documents.

The victim’s allegations were backed up by another witness who told police they were terrified of what he might do. Nicholson, according to the witness, was a “former Marine,” who had “lots of guns,” according to the affidavit.

Among other charges, Nicholson is now facing rape, a level 3 felony, sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 4 felony, child seduction, a level 5 felony, sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 5 felony, child seduction, a level 6 felony, and child sexual battery, a level 6 felony.

Nicholson is due in court on May 27. According to court records, he has already entered a plea of not guilty.

If convicted on all charges and if he receives the maximum penalty for them, Nicholson faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in jail. However, as TFTP reports on a regular basis, child raping cops, often times, receive little to no jail time even when convicted of the most heinous crimes against children.

What’s more, many times the abuse is known about within the department and the top brass help to cover it up. As we reported last month, this was the case in Boston, as newly released documents were released detailing the abuse and cover-up of said abuse carried out by Patrick M. Rose Sr., the former president of the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association and Boston PD detective.

Rose has been charged with molesting children and the documents prove the department knew, and allowed him to continue to serve in their ranks and even engage with children for years.

The documents are redacted copies of internal affairs investigations into Rose. Boston Mayor Kim Janey’s office said the information was released to shed light on the baffling case of how Boston’s top cop was allowed to go on abusing children for decades.

“It is appalling that there was a documented history of alleged child sexual abuse, yet this individual was able to serve out his career as an officer and eventually become the head of the patrolmen’s union for several years,” she said. “Under no circumstance will crimes of this nature be tolerated under my administration, and we will not turn a blind eye to injustices as they arise.”

Fallout from video forces Moorhead Police to temporarily deactivate Facebook page

May 12, 2021 by Jim Monk

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – The Moorhead Police Dept. had to take down its Facebook page Wednesday after someone posted a YouTube video of police encounter that went viral.

Capt. Deric Swenson says the action was necessary because of an overwhelming number of social media comments and phone calls received “from around the world.”

The group later began posting its links on the city of Moorhead’s Facebook page.

One video was posted by someone identified as “Watching the Watchmen,” a group involved in so-called “First Amendment Audits,” “Cop Watches,” and “Government and Police Accountability”

The video shows the Moorhead Post Office, where a man walked inside with a camera and started taking video of employees and customers.

A similar incident happened Monday at Fargo City Hall.

Swenson says Moorhead Police plan to reactivate their Facebook page when possible.

Mt. Juliet Police Officer Cody Mang Arrested for Child Porn

Mt. Juliet Police officer Cody Mang was arrested by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) this week on four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. TBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that someone had uploaded child pornography to a personal email account back in December. Mang was an officer with the Mt. Juliet Police Department at the time. His employment was terminated shortly after the allegations surfaced. He was booked into the Wilson County Jail on a $12,500 bond and likely freed quickly. These types of catch and release stories are common whenever police officers are charged with crimes, even sex crimes against children.

According to public records, Cody Allan Mang is 33 year old resident of Lebanon, Tennessee. His date of birth is 5/12/1988 so it appears he was arrested on or about his 33rd birthday, so to Mr. Mang we say "Happy Birthday Weirdo!" For his birthday we would like to offer him this dox so that people in his area can keep their kids away from him just in case he cannot control his urges. His last known home address is xxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxx, Lebanon, Tennessee 37087-xxxx.

We usually block home addresses of cops, but make exceptions in extreme cases such as getting arrested for sex crimes against minors. We make the exception so that people in the area know to be on the lookout for a sexual predator. We hope that people, especially parents, will see this and keep kids from going to his home. Please do not use this information to commit any crimes against him or his property.

Cops Caught Using Asset Forfeiture Funds to Buy Spy Drones “Off The Books”

Civil asset forfeiture is a pernicious policy in its own right. It is nothing more than legalized, institutionalized, government-sanctioned theft. Forfeiture laws flip due process on its head and create perverse “policing for profit” incentives.

On top of that, we have long suspected that police departments use forfeiture money to secretly purchase surveillance technology. Recent Chicago Police Department emails obtained from a trove of hacked documents prove this happens, revealing that cops used asset forfeiture money to buy drones off the books with no oversight or accountability.

According to reporting by the Chicago Sun-Times, details of the CPD drone program were revealed in an email sent by the director of police research and development. In the email exchange, Karen Conway told other high-ranking police officials that the department’s counterterrorism bureau “utilized 1505 funds for a pilot Drone program that operates within the parameters of current laws.”

Conway wrote that drones “have been purchased and the Electronic & Technical Support Unit (Counter-terrorism) is in the process of creating a training to start a pilot. Some of the Drone uses will be for missing persons, crime scene photos, and terrorist-related issues.”

The city refused to answer specific questions about the drone program, saying the city would not answer questions relating to hacked emails.

he 1505 fund is made of asset forfeiture proceeds, along with other assets seized in connection to criminal investigations. According to the Sun-Times, the fund is “off the books” and isn’t included in the department’s budget. In addition to funding the purchase of drones, 1505 money was reportedly used to purchase cell-site simulators, commonly known as “stingrays.” These devices essentially spoof cell phone towers, tricking any device within range into connecting to the stingray instead of the tower, allowing law enforcement to sweep up communications content, as well as locate and track the person in possession of a specific phone or other electronic device.

According to data gathered under a state law requiring asset forfeiture reporting, the CPD reported taking in seized or awarded assets valued at an estimated $25.9 million over the last two years. That’s a lot of off-the-books money.

Assurances that law enforcement uses the drones “within the parameters of current laws” didn’t ease the concerns of Ed Yohnka, a spokesman for the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois. He told the Sun-Times the emails show the city “continues to pursue the invasive technologies without any public disclosure, oversight or publicly adopted privacy policies,”

“We should not be surprised. This behavior goes back more than two decades when Chicago first began to place surveillance cameras all across the city. To this day, residents of the city have never seen a privacy policy for the use of those cameras.”

In 2018, the Illinois legislature considered a bill to allow drones equipped with facial recognition technology to surveil protests. Separate versions passed each chamber of the legislature, but a reconciled bill never made it to the governor’s desk. The ACLU of Illinois said former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel was the “heavy hand” pushing that legislation.

“Given that the city not so long ago sought legislation to permit using drones to surveil public gatherings, including those engaged in First Amendment activity, it is worth questioning its motivations,” Yohnka said

In a report on the city’s response to unrest in the wake of the shooting of George Floyd, Illinois Inspector General Joseph Ferguson noted that drones were likely flying overhead at some demonstrations.

The Chicago Police Department reveals how asset forfeiture money can serve as another secret funding source for surveillance programs, keeping them out of the public eye.

Local police have access to a mind-boggling array of surveillance equipment. As it now stands, many law enforcement agencies can obtain this high-tech, extremely intrusive technology without any approval or oversight using these off-the-books funding sources. In addition to forfeiture proceeds, local law enforcement agencies can also tap into federal government grants and other funding sources to buy high-tech spy gear. Members of the community, and even elected officials, often don’t know their police departments possess technology capable of sweeping up electronic data, phone calls and location information.

This isn’t just a local concern. State and local police surveillance feed into the national surveillance state.

Information collected by local law enforcement undoubtedly ends up in federal databases. The feds can share and tap into vast amounts of information gathered at the state and local level through fusion centers and a system known as the “information sharing environment” or ISE.

Fusion centers were sold as a tool to combat terrorism, but that is not how they are being used. The ACLU pointed to a bipartisan congressional report to demonstrate the true nature of government fusion centers: “They haven’t contributed anything meaningful to counterterrorism efforts. Instead, they have largely served as police surveillance and information sharing nodes for law enforcement efforts targeting the frequent subjects of police attention: Black and brown people, immigrants, dissidents, and the poor.”

Fusion centers operate within the broader ISE. According to its website, the ISE “provides analysts, operators, and investigators with information needed to enhance national security. These analysts, operators, and investigators…have mission needs to collaborate and share information with each other and with private sector partners and our foreign allies.” In other words, ISE serves as a conduit for the sharing of information gathered without a warrant. Known ISE partners include the Office of Director of National Intelligence which oversees 17 federal agencies and organizations, including the NSA. ISE utilizes these partnerships to collect and share data on the millions of unwitting people they track.

The federal government encourages and funds surveillance technology including ALPRs, drones and stingrays at the state and local level across the U.S. In return, it undoubtedly gains access to a massive data pool on Americans without having to expend the resources to collect the information itself. By requiring approval and placing the acquisition of spy gear in the public spotlight, local governments can take the first step toward limiting the surveillance state at both the local and national levels.

Long Branch, NJ — As John Dalberg-Acton famously stated, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men…” When society grants authority to people — who are prone to corruption — many times, these people will use this authority to enrich themselves and violate the laws of the system that grants them their power. Because of the war on drugs, bad cops are put into positions all the time that allow them to make money breaking laws which they will arrest others for violating.

The following example of corrupt power shows how bad cops can collect their paychecks for decades while partaking in the criminal activity they claim to fight. For 19 years, Long Branch Police Department Christopher Walls likely threw countless people behind bars for domestic violence and drug activity. This week, he was arrested for both.

Walls has been charged with a laundry list of crimes including possession, manufacturing meth, and endangering the welfare of a child after police responded to a report of domestic violence at his home and discovered a meth lab.

According to police, they were called to Walls’ home on Saturday night over reports of a domestic disturbance. As they investigated the allegations of domestic violence, an unidentified resident in Walls’ home tipped off cops that there was a meth laboratory in the basement.

The New Jersey State Police’s Hazmat Unit discovered instruments and all the ingredients needed to make methamphetamine in the basement and in a shed on the property, along with meth residue on chemistry glassware, authorities said. Walls also had books about making methamphetamine, explosives and poison, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office stated on Sunday.

Apparently, Walls was cooking meth to supplement his $128,000 base salary he collected from his job at the Long Branch Police Department.

“Thanks to the swift action of our office, the Long Branch Police Department, and the New Jersey State Police, a very serious risk to public safety has been averted. The collaborative efforts of our agencies dismantled a very dangerous situation. It is particularly distressing that this hazard was caused by a sworn law enforcement officer,” Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said in a statement.

According to prosecutors, police also found a small arsenal of weapons in the home, including long guns and high capacity magazines which were not secured and accessible by the children living in the home.

“The officers in our agency risk their lives daily to protect and serve our residents. It is disappointing beyond measure that one of our officers could have risked the safety of his family and neighbors by engaging in such dangerous conduct. This officer’s actions do not reflect the moral compass of our officers or this agency,” Acting Long Branch Police Chief Frank Rizzuto said.

Walls is currently being held at the Monmouth County jail and he’s been suspended without pay. He is charged with maintaining or operating a narcotics production facility, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the course of a drug offense, risking widespread injury, endangering the welfare of a child.

If convicted, he faces decades behind bars.

What this incident shows us is that the war on drugs is a complete failure. The ones enforcing it can’t even prevent themselves from partaking in the trade and manufacture of these arbitrary substances deemed illegal by the state.

Criminalizing addiction and substance abuse has done nothing to curb the problem and as this case illustrates, it is only making it worse. People are literally dying in the streets at an increasing rate and no amount of police state can stop it. In fact, since the inception of the drug war, drug addiction and overdoses have gotten worse.

As this incident, and others like it illustrate, when authorities who enforce the drug war, engage in the very practice they ostensibly fight, it is time we try something else.

Clearly, kidnapping and caging people for substances is making the problem worse. It is time to fix it.

Parents Catch Cop on Video ‘Puncturing Their Toddler with Unknown Object’

Savannah, GA — Imagine for a moment that your toddler is found screaming and crying in agony and bleeding from a puncture wound. You have no idea what happened so you pull out your phone to check your home surveillance system. Then imagine you find a video of your police detective neighbor abusing your toddler, and causing the puncture wound. For a family in Savannah who lives next door to Savannah Police Detective Vincent Miller, 32, this became a reality over the weekend.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation says it has arrested the Savannah Police detective for child abuse. The veteran detective was caught on the neighbor’s surveillance system abusing their 2-year-old child.

According to the limited but horrifying details of the arrest, the GBI says Miller “punctured the child with an unknown object.”

Savannah police were called out to the scene that night after the parents discovered the video and called 911. Due to the conflict of interest, the police department called out the GBI to assist in the investigation. Miller was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of first degree cruelty to children — a felony.

While the GBI continues to investigate the incident, SPD’s Internal Affairs Division has launched an internal investigation. SPD officials say Miller will be on administrative leave while the internal investigation is ongoing.

Making this case even that much more disturbing is the fact that Miller, who has been with the department for 7 years, is a detective with Savannah’s special victims unit, which investigates crimes of sex and abuse.

Had the suspect been someone else, it would have been Miller who conducted the investigation.

The department refused to go on camera to talk about the incident this week and instead released the following statement:

"Savannah Police Department is launching an internal investigation following the recent arrest of an officer.

On May 15 officers were called to a Savannah residence regarding an SPD officer who had been involved in suspicious acts against a child. SPD responded and contacted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation immediately upon learning details of the claims made by the child’s parent. The GBI began an investigation resulting in the officer, Cpl. Vincent Miller, being arrested May 16 on a charge of cruelty to children – first degree.

While the GBI continues to investigate the incident, SPD’s Internal Affairs Division has launched an internal investigation. Miller, 32, will be on administrative leave while the internal investigation is ongoing.

Miller, 32, has been with the police department for seven years."

Miller is currently being held on bond at the Chatham County Detention Center. His court date is set for July 6.If convicted, he could serve 5 to 20 years in prison.

Cops Knew Suspect Was Not in Home When They Destroyed It, Force Family to Pay for It Anyway

In the land of the free, the job of police officer has morphed drastically over the last three decades. Thanks to the war on drugs, cops have MRAPs, battering ram vehicles, and an entire arsenal of weaponry designed to destroy homes in raids looking for drugs. Because police are human and prone to error, often times these weapons of war are used on entirely innocent people. Because police are government, when they destroy private property by mistake, or lay waste to someone’s dream home, it is the innocent person left holding the bag — thanks largely in part to qualified immunity.

In this latest case, the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Department was searching for Gary Hamen, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for felony burglary and violation of a protective order. Gary had called his father, Gareth Hamen, and asked for a vehicle. He was spotted by a police drone who was listening in on the conversation and was outside of his father’s home.

When police went to arrest Gary, they claimed he was holed up in his father’s home so the local SWAT team took to completely destroying the home. The home was empty and multiple officers on the scene knew it, police did not get consent to enter it, and police never mentioned to Gareth they were planning on destroying the home.

Not long after, the Sheriff authorized SWAT and the SRT to breach doors and windows on the Hamens’ mobile home. According to Wishard’s affidavit, the “tactical procedure [to secure the mobile home] is to create communication portholes in attempts to call out any subject or subjects that may be hiding inside.” If unsuccessful, gas munitions are used to flush out anyone inside. To create the communication portholes for the Hamens’ trailer, an armored vehicle pulled away the front stairs and deck, which were not attached to the mobile home or secured in the ground, and pushed in the front door with a ram. The second armored vehicle opened three portholes on the opposite side of the mobile home by breaking through windows and a sliding patio door, causing significant damage to the walls and the septic system.

The Federalist Society details what happened next.

Witness reports and drone footage indicated that Gary was no longer in the mobile home, and had been seen walking in the nearby river. Immediately before entering the home, the officers were made aware of these reports. Regardless, the sheriff authorized both units to raid the mobile home on the chance Gary was still there. The sheriff did so without requesting Gareth’s permission and without a warrant. During the raid, the officers used armored vehicles to ram through the mobile home’s windows and its front and back doors, damaging the walls and the septic system. Gareth estimated that the damage caused by the raid totaled $18,778.61.

“Shortly after this procedure and before officers entered the mobile home, Gary was seen walking in the river near the Hamens’ residence. Law enforcement apprehended him at approximately 6:00 p.m,” the police report read.

Because the destruction of the Hamens’ home was completely uncalled for — since police knew before they destroyed it that Gary was not in it — Gareth filed a lawsuit to receive just compensation for his losses.

Under Article VI, Section 13 of the South Dakota state constitution, the law requires payment of “just compensation” when the private property is “taken for public use, or damaged.”

Unfortunately for Gareth, however, there is nothing in the law which states government must repair property it destroys during botched SWAT raids. So, Gareth had to fight his case all the way to the State Supreme Court of South Dakota only to find out they would rule against him.

“[O]ur prior decisions have consistently applied the public use language in article VI, § 13 to both the takings and damages clauses, while rejecting a right to compensation under article VI, § 13 when the action involved the state’s police power,” the court wrote in their decision.

The court went on to admit there were two egregious violations of the constitution during the raid:

"We conclude that, at a minimum, the Sheriff’s warrantless entry into the mobile home required an objectively reasonable belief that Gary was living in and present in the home at the time of entry

Given that law enforcement’s last contact with Gary suggested he was no longer in the home, coupled with the fact that law enforcement had surrounded the mobile home for several hours without incident or any materialized threat from Gary, we cannot determine as a matter of law that exigent circumstances existed at the time the Sheriff decided to enter the mobile home.

Regardless of whether the Sheriff used excessive force, the Hamens cannot prevail because they cannot show that the Sheriff’s use of force, even if it was excessive, violated a 'clearly established' right."

However, thanks to qualified immunity, there was no clearly established right of Gareth to not have his home destroyed by a SWAT team, so police and the city were not liable, according to the court.

This is the problem with qualified immunity and why it needs to end, now.

This is a first amendment audit of the town of Amherst New York. I was told by many people to audit Amherst an that this town had the worst tyrant problem in Erie County ; and I might just agree. Erie County was treated like a little kid. The police trying to tell me the station was private property. We won't have that lie. The worst part about this audit is a lieutenant putting his hands on me. When he did not need to, absolutely uncalled for. The lieutenant also said the only way to put a complaint in about him Is to file it with him so he has to investigate himself.. how dumb!!

I was told if I go here I will find tyrants and I found nothing but. They all work together in the blue line gang to help violate citizens here.

Salt Lake City Police Officer Nickolas Pearce has been slapped with his second aggravated assault charge in the past year for his abusive use of his K9 partner. Last year he was arrested for setting his dog Tuco on an unarmed black man who had his hands in the air and was not resisting. This past week prosecutors amended his charges to include a second count of aggravated assault for a 2019 attack on an unarmed woman during a traffic stop. Pearce faces up to 15 years in prison.

Jeffrey Ryans was attacked by SLCPD K9 Officer Tuco on the orders of Officer Pearce in April of 2020. Body camera footage showed that Ryans had his hands in the air and was not resisting. He subsequently filed a lawsuit which led to prosecutors charging Pearce . Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill rarely charges officers for using excessive force and has never gotten a conviction, so expect his efforts in prosecuting Pearce to be half-assed

Nellieana Mafileo Langi was pulled over by Officer Pearce in November of 2019. She extended her arms out the window of her vehicle and Officer Pearce lifted Tuco up so that he could bite her. She did not resist or make any threats according to prosecutors. She suffered serious injuries.

Despite these charges, the Salt Lake City Police Association continues to support Officer Pearce. The posted a press release on Facebook that says:

"The Police Association and its Members continue to have the utmost and fiercest support for all of our officers and members currently being scrutinized by DA Sim Gill's office. It is our understanding the DA's Office currently has 2 full-time prosecutors and 2 full-time paralegals assigned to work solely on the SLCPD K9 incidents. Instead of using these employees to investigate and prosecute criminal cases, Sim Gill has 4 of his staff members investigating one of the most decorated K9 units in the state of Utah... A year of time wasted by the DA led to only two unjustified charges. This seems to be a gross misappropriation of taxpayer dollars - we believe would be better spent prosecuting criminals posing the greatest threat to our city... We will continue to support them during this ridiculous witch hunt led by Sim Gill."

According to public records, Nickolas John Pearce is a 39 year old resident of Herriman, Utah. He has no prior criminal history and the voter registration record we found did not list his party affiliation. He has been with the SLCPD for 14 years. We suspect that he no longer has control over Tuco because usually police dogs belong to police departments, but sometimes they are gifted to their handlers. However, in cases of misconduct the dogs are usually assigned to new handlers. That is why we are not pasting Pearce's address into the body of this article because absent reports from the media that he has Tuco at his home we do not feel the need to warn the public about a good dog with a bad owner at that location.

Once again the pigs get caught trying to protect criminals wearing badges and costumes.

WATCH: ‘I’m Sorry, I’m Scared’: Cops Torture Handcuffed Man to Death, Claim He Died in Car Crash

Union Parish, LA — The family of Ronald Greene as well as the public at large were all told a tragic but utterly false story about this 49-year-old Louisiana man’s last moments alive. According to officials, Greene died after his car crashed into a “tree/shrub” just outside Monroe on May 10, 2019. However, we have since learned everything they were told was a lie after body camera video surfaced and painted an entirely different picture. Greene’s death was not a result of the crash and the department engaged in a coverup.

The Louisiana State Police are crying foul this week after footage was leaked to the national press of officers torturing Greene to death on the side of the road. The LSP claim the footage, which was published by the Associated Press is “premature” and was “not authorized.”

The family of Greene has been calling for the release of the footage for two years which hardly makes it “premature.” Nevertheless, the LSP insisted on throwing a temper tantrum, telling WAFB:

“The investigation into the death of Ronald Greene remains under review by federal and state authorities. The premature public release of investigative files and video evidence in this case is not authorized and was not obtained through official sources.

LSP is confident in the judicial system and fair review of this incident and continues to offer our full cooperation. Unauthorized release of evidence undermines the investigative process and compromises the fair and impartial outcome for the Greene family, LSP employees, and the community,” a spokesperson for the law enforcement agency said.

According to police, Greene was targeted for a traffic stop for a unknown violation on that night. Before he could pull over, Greene wrecked his car. When we look at the photos of the car which were released by the family last year, it looks like a minor fender bender. Nevertheless, the Louisiana State Troopers claimed that Greene died in the wreck.Troopers made no mention of the use of force — or even arresting Greene — in the State Police crash report obtained by the AP but they did state in their notes that he was not wearing a seat belt in the crash.

“We were told that he died in a high-speed chase of head injuries after crashing into a tree,” Greene’s mother, Mona Hardin, told the AP. “There was no major damage to the car.”

As the newly leaked video shows, Greene was alive and well after the crash and records released this week by the Associated Press tell the truth of what happened that night. He spent the last moments of his life apologizing to the cops for not stopping soon enough — as they choked, punched, tasered, and stomped the life out him.

The video shows troopers choking and beating the man, repeatedly jolting him with stun guns and dragging him face-down across the pavement.

Though this is the first time the video has been publicly released, as noted above, the family and their attorneys were able to watch the body camera video in October. What they witnessed was utterly shocking and horrifying.

At one point, an officer is seen placing a foot on Greene “while another hogties him,” attorney Lee Merritt said. One trooper can be heard calling Greene a “stupid son of a b——,” Merritt said, while another cautions that “we shouldn’t tase him any more.”

The violence was entirely uncalled for as Greene had immediately surrendered after the crash.

“Ronald immediately surrendered at his first contact with law enforcement. When the vehicle stopped, he put his hands up and said, ‘I’m sorry,'” Merritt said. “His dying words were, ‘I’m sorry.'”

One of the main culprits in the beating was Louisiana State Police Trooper Christopher Hollingsworth and after he was put on notice that he was under investigation last year, Hollingsworth died in a single car crash.

Previously, the only portion of the video that was obtained by the media was a 27-second audio clip. The clip is essentially a confession from Hollingsworth in which he is heard telling a fellow cop, “I beat the ever-living f— out of” Greene and “he was spitting blood everywhere, and all of a sudden, he just went limp.”

As the video below shows, police beat and tortured Greene until he could no longer speak and then forced him to stay face down in the dirt. When he would try to roll over to breathe, a cop walks back over to him and begins stomping on his face, neck, and lower back.

The photos of Greene’s body released by the family last year show that Greene had been savagely beaten and now we have the video to prove it.

The family has since filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the State Troopers and they will undoubtedly win.
