These shootings keep happening and the one common denominator is always a) GUNS
I am getting so fed up with the uncontrolled regulation and easy access to guns in this country. It's absurd.
Democrats and Republicans need to come together on this one crucial issue by creating a bill that effectively bans guns. Nobody needs a gun and these arguments that people need guns for leisure/hunting or home defense is preposterous. Countries that outlaw guns like UK, Asia, Australia are doing it right. Don't see mass shootings in those countries do ya... How complicated an issue is this, seriously its almost 2020 and the fact nothing has been done about this issue is appalling. I am fine with guns being limited to the military, police for obvious reasons, but there's not a damn reason a citizen in the United States need this instrument for killing. I've said my piece (no pun intended) and less of them would = peace

How did they bring him in alive??The suspected shooter in Aurora, Illinois, has been apprehended and police officers and civilians are among those hurt in a shooting at a manufacturing business, officials said. Four police officers were injured as were a "number of civilians," Ward 4 Alderman Bill Donnell told CNN, citing Deputy Mayor Chuck Nelson. Some patients from the shooting were sent to Mercy Medical Center and Rush Copley Medical Center, according to Mercy spokeswoman Olga Solares. It was unclear how many patients there were and their conditions, she said. A spokesman for the city, Clayton Muhammad, said the four officers' conditions were stable. Police responded to an active shooter situation at the Henry Pratt Company, authorities said. Aerial video from the scene showed scores of police vehicles outside the company. The response included at least six ambulances and six fire trucks. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and FBI are responding to the scene, the agencies tweeted.

Regulation ****** up here. Regardless of which side you are on in the gun debate, you cannot argue that this could not have been prevented.
In 2014 he purchased a gun, being a convicted felon. For aggravated felony assault nonetheless. Background check passed somehow, no finger print necessary (WTF), picks up gun 5 days later. No questions asked. Only later when applies for a conceal and carry, after being FINALLY fingerprinted does it come up his violent felony conviction. They then send a letter asking for the gun back. No follow up.he keeps gun. 5 years later, his anger issues show again, this time, not just with assaulting someone, but killing 5 people and injuring several more.
This is the first time I've had a clear stance on something related to gun debate. It is absurd not to fingerprint someone when they try buying a gun. Background checks are clearly not reliable.Comment -

Should be betting odds on shootings now and when they occur.. Will be Happening all the time with population growth and social media influence. Should be one a month now on average in the States is my best guess.. Social media not helping.. Get your kids off SOCIAL MEDIA and outdoors.. Get them in sports and or academic social groups instead.
If I ever have kids they are gonna read books and be playing outdoors. Will not be on their smart phones all day then coming home to play violent gaming play station games then after.
Kiss human contact goodbye if you don't lay down the law, if you don't put on the brakes you could get a lonely internet child with suicidal tendencies or one on the brink of a school shooting when times really get lonely and bad for that child.
My take in today's times with kids.. Isolation brings on hateful thoughts and being in your room all day makes you fat and lazy to boot. THINK ABOUT THAT!!!

Today's mass shooting in Australia was the second one since 2014. United States has one every week. Probably time to stop setting the bar so low and save your thoughts and prayers. You will have many many more mass shootings before New Zealand, and they simply changed the laws in one day. It will take decades collect guns from American gun nuts.
It's a lost cause.

As land mass on this planet gets more and more populated with humans, weather and natural disasters will be alot more damaging with death tolls then your weekly mass shootings.. Everyone will blame that on global warming..
