Burger King's business model has been to simply ride on the back of McDonalds advertising. Whatever McDonalds did and spent a lot advertising, BK would do a version like this Big Mac thing.

It's played out. McDonalds not dominate enough with the gimic food promos anymore for the model.

Burger King in my town is a lot busier than McDonalds. The BK, Arby's and Chick FilA all have young white kids working there. McDonalds is all mexicans who can't speak English.

Yep. Same with location too. McDonalds will pay tens of millions of dollars doing market research studies and all that stuff just to find good locations for their "restaurants" and Burger King will just plop a store across the street from them.

I used to work with DABOOK for a food delivery company about 20 years ago, we used to deliver to Burger King's every day. Sometime we'd get free meals from the managers. I remember when the Big King came out back then (the smaller version), it wasn't bad. But we noticed every time we ate one, we had to take a massive crap about an hour later. We figured the secret sauce had some kind of laxative in it, so we nicknamed it The Dook.

This uses the "Whooper" patties so like getting a bigmac using quarter pounder bugers patties.

Crazy times. I started packing : boxers , baby powder , butt wipes for a regular days work. They came in handy.

Grew up and loved BK. My buddies dad owned two of them so we'd always get free food ... but it was still good.

Now, or at least where I live, BK's are trash. I haven't been to one in years. I don't eat fast food much anymore, but if I do it's Wendys.

I have no idea what happened to BK. They have really gone downhill.

Just with the national advertising alone... I really thought BK was doing better?

I hardly eat fast food... but IMO here in the Detroit area.... you can taste a big difference in BK over McDonalds. The meat just tastes better... seems like more quality. Of course... it is fast food though

Okay had one for dinner last night.

i think that is the key. Always come up with some excuse why you need a fresh one instead of one thats been sitting on the heating
pad for who knows how long.

The key to getting fresh fries is this say “ is it possible for me to get the french fries with no salt”?

always ask in a question form. This requires them to acknowledge you. Otherwise they mumble some shit and ignore your
request.

then once you get your fries add in your own salt. I travel with my own salt now. Instead of fastfood salt I use himalayin salt

believe it or not himalayin salt is actually good for you I put in my water to balance my PH levels

the big mac has that special sauce and that fresh high quality iceburg lettuce

this one at BK I feel like has a tastier piece of beef but the lettuce and onion didn’t seem as fresh as McDonalds

the bun I would say is a little better at BK too

I dont know man I think go back and get another today and get a big mac too and eat them simultanousely so I can get an accurate read
