Well after power-reading through this thread I think we can safely assume that the greatest American rock-n-roll band of all time is one of either Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Iron Maiden, or AC/DC... with honorable mention going to Bachman Turner Overdrive.

With so many great American R'n'R bands it really is impossible to choose just one.

no, I thought this thread had gone beyond limits of being from the US, and was now worldwide....

listened to more rush than bto.... but not fragile I wore out in my cassette player.... only two bands from canada that were ever worth a shit....

What I was trying to say before my Pc crashed. In 1980 when I was 16 my all time bands where ,Kiss, The who, the doors,led zeppelin, Rush,BTO And when New Wave hit I loved Talking Heads, and Adam And The Ants. In 2017 my favorite bands are Kiss,Rush, Bto, The Doors, Who And Led Zeppelin ,Adam and the Ants and Talking Heads.
