Not true . He took over in nov 2004 first thing he did was get rid of union which was trying to make him enforce safety procedures. In december of 2005 there were 4 roofs that caved in a month before the disaster. He also took their pension so please tell me how he lost money. They had 208 write ups under his watch. Also he gave 2 million which was less then he stole from the pension. Also trump didn't give any money. But thanks for playing, Instead of calling someone a liar get off your ass and GOOGLE IT!
How PISSED OFF are Trump Voters right now

#2069I'm just putting out the facts for the record...anyone in here knows even if we don't see the same on ideology I'm a straight shooter even if it goes against my side. Ross may be an asshole....most guys who climb the ladder usually are...but he didn't own Sago until right before the explosion....took over international coal group in November and blast occurred on Jan....they listed around 200 vioations that predated his tenure and by tenure you have to remember he doesn't run day to day things he invested in groups that bought these assets....the union issues are a seperate debate. While I'm personally not a fan of unions as a whole I like a lot of them that I deal with. But anyway...links below from NY mag back after the mine incident and says it all in ending paragraphs...dates and ownership and Trump involvement. Also I'll add they the later incident at a mine was at Upper Big Branch in W Va in 2010 killed 29.

#2070They bought it out of bankruptcy in nov 2004 but it took them til march of 2005. They were trying to bust the union and the court allowed them to get rid of the pension.
In March 2005, ICG agreed to buy Anker Coal Group, Inc.[8]

#2071Anker West Virginia Mining was listed as the permittee for the Sago Mine. Testifying before MSHA on March 23, 2006, Vice President Sam Kitts described the corporate structure as follows, "Sago is part of Wolf Run Mining Company, which is a subsidiary of Hunter Ridge Mining Company. Hunter Ridge is a subsidiary of ICG, Inc."[5] International Coal Group, Inc.[6] was formed in May 2004 by investor Wilbur Ross, who led a group that bought many of Horizon Natural Resources' assets in a bankruptcy auction. The company produces coal from 12 mining complexes in Northern and Central Appalachia (Kentucky, Maryland, and West Virginia) and from one complex in the Illinois basin.[citation needed]
Ross, originally operating as Newcoal LLC with four other investors, expressed interest in buying Horizon's nonunion properties, but not its six union operations. According to the Associated Press, Horizon was then allowed to sever its union contracts, including pension benefits, by bankruptcy court.[7] In March 2005, ICG agreed to buy Anker Coal Group, Inc.[8]Comment -

#2072Take your time to read that. He was with 4 investors before but bought them out to have it all by himself.
Icg was him by himself. Newcoal llc is him and 4 others.Comment -

And did you see where Pres Trump donated $25k to the families out of goodness of his heart...had no ties and obligation but that's the kind of guy we are getting...read a dozen stories of people praising him for generosity and subtle giving over the years until he ran for office suddenly he was turned into a cartoon character nazi. #2074He bought it with 4 other investors called new coal llc. He thought he could make more money without his partners so he bought it out for his partners. Your right he wasn't out inspecting but he fired the union that would of made them do the safety work. He took more out of companies pension than the money he put back in. It isn't that hard or are you lying to make it seem that this guy is alright? Now I usually don't call people liars but since you said I was lying earlier Than I thought it wouldn't matter.Comment -

#2075Very last line...ICG bought Anker in 2005....Ross formed ICG in 2004 but ICG bought Anker in 2005. I'll look harder at it when I'm off the road but regardless....Ross bought owned ran and sold dozens of companies and subsidiaries and operations is my point. We agree mining is dangerous...and crappy ownership and neglect is what led to him being able to buy these places at auction. Right or wrong depending on how you see venture capitalism these places are mere numbers on a spreadsheet and not places these guys even see in person most times. That's what I'm saying...Ross wasn't walking around in these mines with a calculator telling the foreman what to cut and not cut to save him money...mining is a dangerous gig and as the report showed...no safety reg neglect caused the explosion it was other means. I spent last week over in Garden City on pipeline where union operators blew up a loaded 12 in line TWICE in three days and the company who hired them is notorious for overdoing it on safety. Good for me but bad for them.

#2083This isn't supposed to be the kids choice awards or MTV awards glitz ....it's become that under Obama....a show...but really who cares? Are you really gonna stay up and watch Trump and Melanie dance at the party? Listen to the music? It's like the Super Bowl halftime or any other intermission performance it's the time to go get a beer and hot dog.
I'll watch the swearing in so I can see all the snowflakes throwing a tantrum behind the gates and get arrested but then it's on to something else.Comment -

Their bizarre behavior ruins any chance of unity which is unfortunate but also unnecessary.

For one, diversity does not allow for it. Two, if the GOP wanted unity, they had 8 years to show they could work with libs and find common ground but this didn't happen.
Easy to call for unity when you control everything
That's more like imposing the opposite side to compromise their beliefs and join your side.Comment -

"The event — which provides a telling revelation for how quickly the post-election climate soured — serves as the prologue of Robert Draper’s much-discussed and heavily-reported new book, “Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives.” According to Draper, the guest list that night (which was just over 15 people in total) included Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Pete Sessions (Texas), Jeb Hensarling (Texas), Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) and Dan Lungren (Calif.), along with Republican Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), John Ensign (Nev.) and Bob Corker (Tenn.). The non-lawmakers present included Newt Gingrich, several years removed from his presidential campaign, and Frank Luntz, the long-time Republican wordsmith. Notably absent were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) — who, Draper writes, had an acrimonious relationship with Luntz.
For several hours in the Caucus Room (a high-end D.C. establishment), the book says they plotted out ways to not just win back political power, but to also put the brakes on Obama’s legislative platform.
“If you act like you’re the minority, you’re going to stay in the minority,” Draper quotes McCarthy as saying. “We’ve gotta challenge them on every single bill and challenge them on every single campaign.”
But ya, it was Obama refusing to work with the GOP.
And now, they expect unit.Comment
