They would rather vote republican even when it doesn't make any sense for them to do so. They would rather back the white candidate, the one that is about downsizing social welfare programs.

99% of SBR posters will greatly benefit from SS. I suspect for many, regardless of race, SS will be the sole source of income and Medicare will be the only form of medical insurance.

And yet, they will vote for a party that is looking to abolish both

I am fickle, Giant. I may have been sober that day, my thoughts fogged by WD's, so I made an irrational thread. I remember making the thread but I don't remember what prompted it. You and Archie have photographic memories. It's unreal

I see, that was over 2 years ago. Wow, didn't realize that. Yes, my views have changed considerably since then.

Now I just realize my needs actually align more with the platform of D party than R. Again, take SS for example. It won't be my sole source of income, by a long shot but I could sure to hell use another 3-4k/month. That's huge in retirement. Especially when you have a pension. I can live off one while stuffing the other away to leave for the kiddo. Without both, that's not possible.

That's just one example.

Not sure if I would vote Trump or not. But I hate to admit it, I think I might.

Right now it goes Sanders, Trump, not voting
