I have the 5c but am upgrading to the 6 and the iWatch as well. Anyone else on this? Fukk Samsung btw. Although they are Chelsea's sponsor....

I'll get the smaller one next week and have upgrade with Verizon on another line so will try out the larger screen as well but am waiting till fall most likely before its out due to the noted production delays. Cant wait to try out the much hyped payment system its going for...rumor is PayPal will be crushed within a couple years once they perfect it...already have the major companies signed on to assist so looks good. Get rid of debit cards all together and hopefully keys will fall with apps eventually. Love the consolidation.Comment -

Some big disappointments. Sony and Samsung has been waterproof for years. No Saphire glass. 8 mp camera?? I see people with their android phones on tripods taking crazy far away pics.
But this seems to be the strategy whenever they go big, they dont add much more. Remember when the ipad came out there was nothing but jokes early about it being a big ipod and then everyone still bought one. Every other year there is one launch for the people renewing their contract and the next year is for people buying or upgrading. Next Ipads should get all the new (old Samsung) features.
I like the stock right now. The watch could be the start of a new app store. Samsung watches are duds and Samsung's phone appeal seems to have peaked in the everyday user category and its selling less parts to Apple. It's almost as if Apple realized they are not impacted at all by the Samsung spec increases. Samsung has a 20 mp camera waterproof phone now and ten core processor yet people havent tossed their iphones. Windows phone is joke. Sony waved the white flag. They may know if they go slow and get it right people will buy their brand and their stock. Its a little like Beats headphones, which they bought. It's not the best product but is the best brand.Comment -
And anyone know the details on the Apple pay? I didnt see the presentation... Is it just an app or are they actually taking a piece of the transaction like a credit card or paypal does? That would be huge and lead to shipping mass amounts of POS units to walmart.Comment -

Didn't see today's presentation but heard this week they have **** and others already signed on so I'm sure they get a cut that way...NFS installed makes it pretty fluid but will evolve....at the end of the day its just another reason to buy into the Apple ecosystem to ensure more product moved for as far as the eye can see.Comment -

Doubt anyone in here will share the reference and nostalgia since most SBR posters are 23 and under....but I remember as a kid with the big ass sat dish in the backyard for TV and playing games on the Tandy computer....thought that was as good as tech would ever get.

Basically it's an app and a piece of software (You'll be able to use in the future iOS8 update in about a month)
Apple is storing cards securely by encrypting the information and storing multiple cards in Passbook. Each card gets a device-only account number, so your actual card number is never stored or shared.
Because your actual cards number is never stored or shared, you don't have to cancel your cards if your iPhone gets stolen. You can also use Find My iPhone to suspend all payments from a device
Since they do partner with all 3 major cards to do this thing, I'm pretty sure Apple will get some kind of a $$$ kickback from the transaction processing.
