I didn't have any reason to question RS' credibility prior to that. I guess everything will be questioned in the future. Credibility issues aside, I would have been inclined to believe almost anyone saying what RS was saying. There was simply no reason to lie. If it was false, there was no way it would stand. So what would be the point?

The notion that it was humor based is a head-scratcher for me. I don't see the humor. I feel it was more attention-based. RS would be far from the first person on this forum to do something for that reason. In fact it is (regrettably) a foundation principle of this forum.

I suppose you could make a case that the whole thing was edgy social commentary. RS was a victim of some much more vile, false accusations awhile back when someone accused him of posting pedo porn. It was an ugly thing, both for RS personally, and for those of us who consider Child porn to be a serious issue and don't like it to be casually tossed around as a tool in a hate agenda.

Based only on the random accusations of someone with a well-known agenda, a lynch mob - which included SBR mods - formed and convicted RS. It was very similar to what happened with this AAO thing. So you could chalk this new episode up to edgy social commentary. It was actually pretty on-the-nose. This forum is pretty idiotic sometimes.

Unfortunately (to me) this latest stunt seems to come with the message, so let's embrace and find humor in all the BS around here. Whereas I prefer the message, so let's cut the BS and be real. But I have been on the minority side of that debate for a long time.

At the end of the day (hate that saying), Scholar got just what he wanted out of this.

A huge rise from the posters and mods.

I've kept pretty silent on this, but what the hell, here's my opinion, for what it's worth.

Nobody hated Scholar more than me when he first began posting here. And it had NOTHING to do with his sexuality. The guy came after me, and he is quite brutal. His education can shake even the most seasoned internet tough guys (me).

After some blowouts, we e-kissed and made up, and I now consider Scholar a friend. Weird, I know.

But he never makes any qualms about what he is here for.

1. Entertainment
2. Social circles
3. Sports gambling

So you know what you get with him. He does seem 50-50 with his fan base/haters here. I can emphasize with both sides, as I've been on both sides.

But do yourself a favor and either embrace him or ignore him, cuz he ain't going anywhere. And he's actually a pretty decent guy once you get past the BS.

What a load of crap. RS is allowed to smear another poster with an outright lie, because he was "victimized" by me.

The difference is that RS did have pics of underage males engaged in sex and he constantly writes that it's ok for 16 year old boys to have sex with men. Whereas there was truth in my accusations of RS, there was no such truth in his senseless attack of AAO.

Shocked you don't see the difference. More shocked you use this as an excuse for RS.

I was fuming for a little while but its pretty much a dead issue now. I think everyone has relized that I did not stiff anyone and RS just made up a fairytale. Its funny that he claims he has been around for two years on this gambling forum, yet he still doesnt understand joking about stiffing is not funny to anyone(except the few that are morons like him). I think its a safe bet to call him an attention whore, and if I was to go around each thread calling him an idiot, or go in chat and call him a fuking faggot, it would just encourage him - afterall, that is what he thrives off of.
