Getting back to this song:

Makes me think of my 2nd ex fiancee. That one I screwed up mostly. Long story short perfect everything and I was deep DEEP into alcoholism and she's more of a weed smoke woman that loves the world so we didn't click when it came to spending our lives together.

That girl, she says something and 2 days later you'll be like wait - I have to think that out.

It's like we're soul mates but the intangibles of life drove us apart.

We'll never speak again because things got too f*cked up, but life is life.

Now, why does it remind me of this song.

Great music is about inspiration. Why is U2 so great? Because they decided to change the world more for peace and love more than anything else, that's why.

So, the heartbreak I feel when I think of the way she looked into my eyes the last time she was on top for a final goodbye after idk, 20 years or so -

That's rock and roll material, imo.

I've talked to Kent Steffes. He is arguably the 2nd best beach volleyball player ever. In 1996 he and Karch Karily (unquestionably the best) won the Olympic Gold Medal. Not saying how we ran into eachother, but he and Karch are incredible people - still at this age now. They've moved on to other things.

In the late 90's, volleyball almost was as popular as the NHL. Things happened, they tried to make the sport more marketable blah blah blah.

Still cool as penetrate sport imo.
