#91637Originally posted by KVBI think a heavy fave might take a dive tonight in the Ukraine Setka Cup.Two big matches at 10:40 and 11:10 pacific time....
...with Vlad Melnikov over Aleksandr Leonenko and Sergey Burdelny over Vasily Smyk...No buy yet, but as of now it looks like I’m going with Melnikov in the open parlay as Sergey Burdelny’s odds have dropped from about -645 to -540, not long after I posted.
Sergey Burdelny’s drop just might reflect some knowledge he will fail. Vasily Smyk just might get a gift tonight, and he pays +320...
Hmmm. What's that coming out of a bag?
I'm passing tonight on the favorites and hope we see an upset between these two matches. I want to see some settlement here.
Does KVB know when a Ukrainian Ping Pong player is going to take a dive?

#91644Ok, so the Ukraine bubble seems to have popped, back to business as usual, right?
Maybe, but just in case we get an after shock, I'll put this one in a second open parlay, as the Russian play won earlier in the 5 pick...

It was spot on.
With two open parlays pending and a win with a risky Danila Andreev last night, we hit him again on the other parlay today.
Another risky venture with this guy...

#91651This is a 3rd open parlay campaign, trying to button up the day here.
I started another open parlay, again to circumvent limits, and I think this batch carries a different set of risks than the other play salready banked in the parlays...
Vasily is in here twice.
These guys play a lot of games on the schedule.

#91653Ok, so remember the market pop last night, I do...lol.
The UTTF, Ukranian Table Tennis Federation, yes what I will refer to as the UTTF or simply "The Federation" wanted to develop table tennis as an Olyumpic sport. They were like "what can we win at, I know, ping pong" and created the Setka Cup.
It's a series of tournaments, there are tons of matches each day, with players playing multiple times, sometimes each other mulitple times on the schedule.
They wanted to popularize the sport so they open it to anyone over 18, there are male and female matches. I think anyone in from anywhere in the world can join. It's only a couple years old.
But to play, there's a crazy application. You have to provide contacts of people you know, medical histories, a lot of shit. Then, the vet each application and deicide who can play. It's like an FBI check just to play.
Yeah, they wanted to popularize the sport and see if they could bolster Olympic level teams, but that's not all they did.
Can you pick up what I'm putting down?

#91655This parlay is posted above...
Quick analysis of the Russian Pro League in Moscow…
I think Ivan Pandur could get a win today. He has three matches, times are PST.
1:20…+355 vs Kuzmin (in parlay above)
2:20…+116 vs. Babkin
3:20…+295 vs. Vasily (in parlay above)
Notice Babkin is in there against Pandur. Vasily is about to play Babkin for the first leg of the parlay above. It could be the Vasily loss we seek.
I’m looking for Pandur to win the +116, obviously his best shot, but what we’re really looking for is Pandur to lose his first two matches, setting up the 3:20 match.
The odds of the upset increase significantly if Pandur fails the first two times and Vasily wins the first leg of the parlay above. We’ve been riding Vasily for a while now and today could be the day he takes a little back. The Russian League is not the Sekta Cup, we have a slightly different market settlement matches, but the two market are running parallel for sure.Comment -

So I bought this...
This is not a situation wher Pandur steals a game, in my opinion.

So with that first loss since I've been posting the stage is set.
While the 3rd open parlay campaign from earlier has Vasily -485 over Pandur, the line has now moved to -560...
Pandur now pays +330 but given the failed effort in the last game, we might not see our market settlement tonight; even if +330 offers the value and this statement is still holds true...
