Thanks, Diggity. I think I'm more of a lurker as my post count proves. This pro gambling game is a lot more boring than people think and after coming across SBR years ago to help with a dispute, I have always followed this thread. It actually acts as a decent filter for who to listen to on the site in general.

Rotation number was old school. We never developed it into anything more than predicting the, for exmple, underdog every ten games.

This light study, with no types of regressions, worked very well for 3 years.

The real answer wasn't in rotation number, it is in the rotation order.

This is why I hate delayed games and time changed, both of which you've seen me bitch about.

That forecast was correct on both the favorite and the under.

We're not really trying to have a reduced line error there, it would be nice, but it's early season. What we get there is a forecasts the predicts the result, not better than the book, but just give the result. We really aren't comparing to the market there, just getting an answer.

Not bad when we consider that when we do size up the market, we will get a play with .5 point discrepancy.

We're going to win with two different predictions this year, like last year. (stacking and sharp should both beat the market again but it will be interesting to track the avg. line error this year, it seems like it should go up).

Same with liquefied natural gas, Trump working for us like you say. That gas gets caught up in oil and gas supply mess and has dropped, I am still bullish on LNG and natural gas in general, but it could be rocky and even steady instead of a rise if we go into a recession (which seems to be a little ways off still).
