Watching that footage of the border patrol on the Canadian Border on Netflix cracks me up.

It's legal on both sides of the border at Washington State but you can't have any weed at the actual federal border crossing.

A couple of stoners make a wrong turn, end up in Canada, try to get back and the Border Patrol gets a hard on when they find "crumbs" in the car. They bring out the dogs and search everything, then when they search the people.

They found a text on the phone of a Canadian national asking if he could sell some weed to a friends mom. They found no drugs or anything else but gave him lifetime inadmissibility to the US for being an admitted drug dealer and user.

Mind you, it's legal on both sides of that border gate both medicinally and recreationally.
