Not all that confident, like I said above no locks tonight. I followed the money and went with the forecasts. I thought we had enough relevant data with the QB out to go with the numbers, and GB was the play.

In the end the forecasts will prevail, injury or not, so I went with them. Besides, like I said before, I've lost a few opportunities to even get down because of all these big injuries. I wanted to get a play off if I could, as soon as enough games had passed with GB.

I knew the risks, but it's been a few weeks so it was worth taking. This game isn't over either; after all, Detroit scored first.

Also, this girl uses Green Bay Packers themed anal beads...

The Hornets against the Knicks tonight has to be a consideration
Hornets can hang with anyone , deep roster full of solid
They only have one real all star on the team with Kemba Walker
cant consider Dwight Howard a all star anymore
but with Marvin Williams never turning the ball over and Lamb hitting shots at a high
clip along with good production from the bench I see this team tuning it on soon
Hopefully it starts tonight against a ok Knicks team but not one that scares me too much at the moment

Taking Hornets -1.5 tonight against Knicks
I possibly see the line going up to 3

You may be on to something here. I have the Knicks winning 112-101 and the public seems to be on them as well.

It will be interesting to see if that line does move much further.

While tracking the forecast as money in the market offers a lot of information, the forecast itself mentions three things: New York winning, the OVER, and New York winning by 11. They won by 5. It was off by 6 points.

The market had Charlotte winning by 2; it was off by 7 points.

That’s what the forecast does; it tries to reflect reality better than the market.

The NBA can be a real bitch though, with spurts of forcing drawn out troughs before showing profit again.

I didn’t see the game but I see Charlotte not only scored first, but took control of the score early and for most of the game. Bring out the sharks….lol.

I don’t know where you get the 92% number but I’m willing to bet it’s off. Whether it’s those 538 douches trying to predict the superbowl comeback odds or the live markets themselves, I think the basis for those odds is often flawed. It’s one reason the live markets can be exposed.

They don’t take into account the context of the market, they don’t have those stats. To use my terms: they are static, not dynamic.

Besides, we all know a 10 point lead in the NBA is nothing and it was only an 11 point lead with a whole 4^th quarter to go.

I haven’t developed the metrics like those that indicate or gauge deception, or a comeback, for the NBA games yet this season, I haven’t been paying too much attention, and the season was young. But it’s getting time.
