my good friend mr slew wrote about taxes the other day. something that went like...guess who wants to raise your taxes.

let's talk about taxes. first and foremost if you do not work, in most cases, you pay very little tax. and mr slew does not work along with most of the trump supporters I have had the pleasure of conflict with.

second, we live in one of the greatest countries in the world. no, it isn't the greatest but it is in the top 10. here is a thought. paying taxes should be an honor and patriotic. what is more patriotic than supporting the country who has given you such wonderful opportunities. I often claim, and truthfully, I have never received a transfer payment in my life. I also have never, not once complained about paying taxes. I accept it as a part of life. I was given the opportunity to advance as far as my abilities take me. I appreciate that and have no problem supporting my country.

here is what does bother me about taxes. the people who earn incredible money, and the corporations who do the same do not pay their fair share. and this is what president Biden's tax deal is all about. if taxation was totally fair you and I and others in our circumstances would be paying less. but, continue to support R who do not care about fair

I did play football growing up. We played everyday. I played flag football for years. I played in grade 11 and 12. I was almost always the #1 pick when we picked teams when we got together to play touch or tackle football with friends in the neighborhood. Its because I could throw the ball a mile. Still can.

I was a financial planner at one time. I started of really well. Landed some big accounts. Didn't want to do it anymore. Wanted to travel and see the world. Lucky I chose CR and they were a hub for sportsbook companies back then. They paid cash and lots of it. I follow sports anyways so it was great to be able to watch and talk sports for a living.
