i think its a good idea. it doesnt effect anyone else so not sure why people are complaining. i would rather be good and be able to play anywhere and not that table then be bad and only play on that table. least those people have a place to go and learn

I am not mad with with, I just don't agree with it.

Also, it is the opposite to what you stated, the lower players can play at all tables, the higher players cannot play at all of the tables.

The table name is really accurate I guess, as it is a ringed off area where the endangered species are protected.... :-)

My rating is 1402 and I haven't even played a ring game since this stupid thing started.

Also not sure how it's 1402 when the range low is 1300...I'm inside the Top 75 on the earnings list

My rating is low enough to sit at the sanctuary table, I have played 7 or so tournaments and cashed in 5 of them, and have rolled over something like 600 pts, I guess because I play at low stakes I'm not playing against good competition.

I must be missing something. A new player starts out at 1500. These sanctuary tables have been opened for newbies and slumpers. Yet, one must have a score of 1450 or lower to sit down. It looks like these new tables are not for newbies.

If you haven't played ever, your rating is 1500.

If you've played before, go to tools, then stats, and you can see your rating.

there are currently 6 people at a sanctuary table.. 2 are in the top 80 and one in the top 200. there are no other games. nice work

Not saying that the current SBR rating system is accurate or flawed but tourney ratings are much different than ring poker ratings.

People that are good at turbo style poker tourneys will not always be good ring poker players.

I guess this ranking only applies to ring games. I won the 10pm tourney and ranking never budged, still at 1613.

I would not have been able to play there for a couple of hours on 10 points if it wasn't all badish players, so without it there still may have been no one at the tables.
