I had cable but that kept screwing up so I just switched over to iinet ADSL hoping that would be better. When I lived a few suburbs away, I never had an issue so I'm thinking it may just be a coverage thing. Just frustrating because I was living in Norway before this and was paying less than half of what I am now and my Internet was blazing regardless of the time of day.Comment -
Cable is the best (apart from fiber which isn't really widely available, far less than cable even) much better than ADSL, but sometimes you need to change a few things to stop it playing up, too late for that though. I could help you out with it but you're probably stuck in a contract with iinet now. ADSL is mainly limited by your distance to the exchange but some are overloaded and get problems during peak time which you're pretty much stuck with. iinet are a good company for ADSL though so if there's anything that can be fixed, they will do it for you.
Most of Europe and Asia has internet that absolutely smashes ours in every single way
