    BetOnline - Hand History
I have been attempting to import my BetOnline hand history manually using PokerTracker 3. Sadly, they are not setup for an automatic import from this site.

However, the fields are not recognized by the program. Is there another program a member could recommend for use with BetOnline? ...or, if not, could you advise me of how I must alter my hand histories for them to be accepted manually?

    Thanks in advance!!!

I don't know of any software currently that accepts the HH's. There is a new software in Beta Testing that I am part of the Beta Testing with the owner and I've requested that they start working on the BetOnline HH's. When and if they start working with BetOnline I'll let you know. This software isn't available yet, but there may be an oppurtunity to help with the Beta Test starting at the end of this month or next month.

Also, I would suggest all of us that would like to see a tracker work with BetOnline contact both PT and HEM to see if they can support it. BetOnline uses the same software as YouWager and Action Poker Network so if they program their software to support it they could actually add a few rooms to their list of support.

We didn't need another thread for this: there's already a BetOnline poker thread.

I understand there is another thread concerning BetOnline, but that's not how threads work. If you pick a keyword (BetOnline in this case) and have everything associated with that keyword lumped into a single thread...you've an unmanageable mess on your hands. The existing thread you're referencing concerns suggested improvements for BetOnline, but the OP (myself) was unaware that the feature I was looking for wasn't currently available. I thought there might be some way to import the hand history manually.

Well, the point is entirely moot anyhow; I'm switching up to Bodog.

If your concern is being able to use PT3 or HEM, then you might want to check into bodogs hand histories before you fully commit. Since they came out with that announcement a while back about anonymity and protecting its players, they made changes to their hand histories. Player names are no longer listed only there seat numbers. Not sure if PT3 or HEM can auto import your sessions on the fly on bodog.

              gamemastere,

Thanks for the advice! I wasn't planning on using PT3 for its ability to analyze the playing habits of my opponents. I thought on doing that, but then I realized that it could lead me to making some dangerous decisions during play rather than sticking with what I know to be true. I simply want something that can tell me when and how "I" am going wrong...and perhaps fix any weak areas of my game.

I came across this searching for a solution the BetOnline HH solution. I haven't found one, both HEM & PT3 said they are considering it.

I can give you some insight to Bodog, which is really the only reason I registered to this forum.

PT3 has a built in hand grabber for Bodog, you just need to make sure the auto import is activated before you open the Bodog client to insure you grab all of your hands. They give a 60 day trial that cripples most of the functions, but the Bodog hand grabber will still work.

With HEM you need to use a third party hand grabber, and the one they recommend is Idleminner which is $50. HEM has a 15 day trail with full functionality and Idleminner's free trial is good for 1000 hands.

Since Bodog is going to stop servicing US players at the end of the year (poker only) for me it's really a moot point. Which ever one adds support for BetOnline HH is the one I'm going to buy. But if you're not in the US and Bodog is your only consideration, then the choice is easy. Go with PT3 and their built in hand grabber.
