    I was in a 10 player cash game...hand # 543,168.

I had 10&6, the other player in the hand had 10& something else.

On the board was 10, 6, and I think 4.

On flop there was a bet and a caLL.

On turn I checked and then opponent checked....

and then immediately the river card showed and the hand ended in a tie (6,6,6,10,10).

So basically the software did not allow for any river betting!

        Hi Ron,

It sounds to us like a connection issue. If you missed a status message or river card it would be akin to seeing a blank tourney lobby when there was actually data on the screen.

The Hand ID you gave us you didn't hold a 10&6, we're pulling the logs.

If it wasn't that hand it was the one right before.

I really don't think it was a connection issue. Papertrail observed it as well.

I don't know what my opponent observed as he left just after the hand.

What happened was your opponent disconnected after the turn and his free disconnect protection kicked in. Had you bet instead of checked his hand would have auto-folded.

Why would the opponent's hand have auto-folded if his disconnect "protection" kicked in? Shouldn't it have run the turn and river for whatever the pot was after the flop betting rounds?

Yeah the protect should have forced the and to do exactly what ronpaul described.

I did NOT check on the river...I didn't have a chance to bet or check. After we both checked the turn it flipped the river and the hand ended.

diconnect protection is only cheating and you don't get chance to bet. If both all in cards are simply dealt
