Wow. I just logged onto to see who is in it, a lot of big names. I guess it is understandable given it is a $50k event..

While I agree Phil H. would be a "good for poker" win, I just can't get by his entitled attitude therefore I will rarely ever root for this guy.

If any of these guys get it, it would be cool. For me I kinda wouldn't mind seeing some of the young guys take it down:

      Phil Galfond
      Scott Seiver
      Shaun Deeb
      Jon Turner
      Michael Binger
      Josh Arieh

      To name a few.

      From the older guard:

Barry Greenstein, Gus Hansen or Jeffrey Lisandro would be cool.

I agree. When I said that, I was more referring to good press for poker in the mainstream media as he has the biggest profile with general people (i.e. potential fish... :-).

          Cheers

4 left and Hellmuth with a decent chip lead, hope he takes it down.

I've always liked Ming, but would be nice to see Phil win a tourney over a million. Though, sometimes, Phil just bugs the shit out of me.

A Hellmuth win would get some mainstream coverage, so I'm rooting for him. Ly has a reputation for being an angle shooter, so I guess he's the villain of the table.

Brian Rast just shipped the monster, 8.6 mil pot for a chip lead.
                        Entertaining final table so far.

If you happen to know that article, I would like to read it. Far as I heard, could be wrong, the Brunson's, both Todd and Doyle, are good friends with Ly

Damn ... Phil is a bitch a lot of the times he is on TV, but to lose three flush draws is brutal. His fist million dollar pay day though.
