Why is the tournament a turbo?

Let's have a big coin flip tournament instead. Or have a 1 chip tournament. Everyone starts off with 1 chip. This will be a crap shoot...then again we are gamblers.

Not a turbo in the sense of time, but the rate that the blinds go up. We go from 600/1200 to 1000/2000. Antes begin before the first hour. This will be a 2 and a half hour tournament tops.

Ya for some reason SBR likes the tourneys to end fast. Maybe so everyone gets kicked out and plays in the Cash games and loses their points?

by this time in the 60 man tourney with only a 2000 starting stack, you should have about 50000 chips, if ur still alive. normally the tourney is wrapping up or over after 100 minutes. so with the starting stack of 3000 and 280 players I think we will be just fine and it wont feel like a turbo. I think it would of been more fun Starting with 500 chips to make it real turbo like the Old Full Tilt style . Knowing how to play & shove in those games is key. Turns into a huge crap shoot fast but highly profitable.
