Sort of what i was saying though. Instead of announcing it, you just check and if your opponent bets, you just call.

Crazy part is, atleast 2 of the 3 royals(not sure about the 3rd) have happend when the person with the royal had been leading out/pushing all in and was lucky enough to get a call.

played on a table last night and the royal flush was possible and one of the players went all in.asked why he did that,he said thought someone would call it,now a smart player would of did the minimum to keep enough players to qualify in case it hit but i guess we would never know

Yeah now it gets change to 5K for spades only! I'm calling bullshit here! And poker racism! What have you got against the other suites? As hard as it is to hit a royal, the same amount should apply for all suites! Just like SBR, changing the rules in the middle of the game!

Tonight on Final Table of 9pm tourny, player named JMUplayer1 said he folded QJ of spades, and A,K,10 of spades showed up. Why he folded, with no raises either??? Its a mystery but, it could have been 5K for everybody. Wish he wulda played it... arg

Instead of 5K and 1K, point lost could of been split equally at 2K per suit. It did not happen that way because it would of came out way worse then how they did it. I actually think it would be better and more fair at 2.5K each.
