Why don't more people play on merge?
So about 2 months ago I decided to try Carbon Poker which is on the merge network and they have several skins obviously Sportsbook.com family of books use the software as their poker room but I stick to Carbon seeing as they are probably one of the top skins. Anyways... after playing at tilt and stars even absolute I cannot understand why more people don't give this network a go.

The software is beautiful and allows rabbit hunting and shows a percentage like on TV for all in situations. You can even run it twice at some tables. They also have bad beat tables if you choose to play at them.

They pay out 35% rakeback nightly to your account.

Many tournaments have overlays due to lack of players.

Merge is located in Australia so I feel much safer knowing it is regulated.

The number of weak players is pretty extreme as well... considering sportsbook.com family of books are connected to the network that means that after the nightly games are over a lot of people take the winnings and attempt to play poker and end up blowing most of it...

Anyone else try any of the merge skins? Any reason for not liking it?

Oh... deposit/WD options are great as well... everything from ** to check to *** to instant deposit (not like stars/tilt instant deposit)

i play on carbon but payouts for me are a little slow 2-3 weeks to get check because they only process on monday. i just get tired of playing online i saw a royal flush a straight flush and 2 four of a kinds within 15 hands of each other once there so i got a little weary. i have made a profit of about 10 percent there of what i started with. the smaller ring games have lots of fish. i do like the 10-30 dollar mtt that have guarentees because of overlay. i can not stand the one hour late registration though. it makes it take forever

I play there but it's still a small network. The checks are a joke and you have to pay a fee everytime so it's just not worth my time. The software is also terrible

I agree with the above about the late registration sucking, I do however like the fact they are beginning to have more freeze out tourney's which will speed things up.

I have not requested a check, I just decide to do *** and that seems to be pretty quick.

IF anyone signs up at carbon any chance you could use referal xstudlygrinder

Also if anyone wants rakeback 35% the code I used was RTR600 (100% bonus up to 600, 1$ for every 75VIP points) If you do check out any of the merge skins just know that if you sign up for rakeback you only get VIP points at 65% the normal rate.

I just have been playing here 2 months and love the fact that support is responsive and has a presence at 2+2 also the network as a whole listens to its customers. A big problem with people short stacking a while back and they increased the buy ins from 20bb to 30bb. Granted its not much but it improved things.

Not sure why anyone would not like the software... granted its not made for more than a handful of tables at once. The max I have went is about 6 but it still functioned fine.. I guess I just like the more graphically based software.

In regards to the RF and str8 flushes etc... its variance I guess.. also play at the bad beat tables... it just hit for around 500k

It's getting there, it's now 4th in real money traffic for US playable sites. I think this is the year they try to distance themselves from Cake and Bodog and go after Cereus traffic.

They just changed a lot of the tourney structures for the end of the month and beginning of feb. 50k guaranteed is now 75k!
