I was a bit skeptical that he would be able to do well at the WSOP against the best tournament pros in the world. I thought he was a great cash game player, and now he has held placed in Holdem, Omaha, and HORSE. You have to put him as one of the top 5 overall players in the world now.

He is a good player but I don't understand the younger players fascination with him besides the obvious age factor.

i think its the rags to riches type of story. Most of us in 2003-2005 depostied 50 into a poker account and eithter lost it or ran it up to 200 or so. But he made himself a rich icon. Most of us live vicariously through him.

i think it's cos he's just that good. he's not just another pro, his relentless style is so successful hes at the ranks of ivey in terms of poker idols and well deservingly

He will win many bracelet in the years to come. The man had a second this year and showed quite well throughout. I study the WSOP players immensely this year and he is one of the best but there are many of them.
