Yes....$25K.
Almost embarrassed to say this, but I wasn’t even aware of this until I got an email two weeks after the tournament. I submitted the entry last minute and never ever tracked it through the tournament.
Was actually going for Gonzaga as I had a chance to win $200 in another pool if they won (plus a big 500 Betpoints bet on them). Good thing that didn’t happened.
Kind of wish I knew what was on the line the last game. Instead of watching a non-exciting, let down game that I thought I was watching...I would have been going crazy as Baylor was laying the wood to Gonzaga.

Turned out you were better off not knowing. You probably would have hedged and not won as much.

That’s exactly right....but I wouldn’t have hedged much since there was uncertainty in the tie-breaker. Big drop in money for 2nd place.

She’s scared of casinos because of COVID. I have saved a ton of money this past year.
Although our two trips before the shutdown she was up about $3000. She was on a hot streak. But we know those don’t always last.

According to his Facebook...he lives in Jasmine Estates, Florida. Sure we could go find him pretty easily if we wanted to.

After taxes the plan is:
1/3 to me
1/3 to the wife
1/3 to the future house fund
yes....marriage is the rake on life.
as for my end, I’m planning on taking a Vegas trip and playing in a WSOP event (or two) when the world gets back to normal. Probably the $1500 - $2000 tournaments.

Yeah, great stuff! Spending it wisely but also having a bit of fun, taking a couple WSOP shots, great idea!
