What was the triathlon? I didn't participate in it in the past. I think I remember it having a Blackjack special or something along with poker.

They haven't had the triathlon in many years, what makes you think they are bringing it back now?

That said, I would be in favor of it if so - this being a sports betting site, a contest which combines handicapping, poker, and casino is sort of a test of finding the best "overall" gambler. If done correctly in terms of format, it's quite fun imo.

Last time didn't 1/3rd of your score come down to 30 mins or something of blackjack? Or at least last time I participated. Just remembered it seeming kind of dumb and invalidating several weeks of poker and sportsbetting

Yes, as I said, it would require the overall contest to be properly structured for it to be interesting/good, but I think it could be done. Having thirty minutes of blackjack count as much for a few months of poker was definitely not a good structure imo.

Maybe something where the casino aspect is weekly (every Saturday or something for 30 minutes), a different game each week and your overall "score" in the casino portion is then 1/3 of the contest along with 1/3 for poker and 1/3 for basketball picks.

May not be so easy to design but feels like it's doable.

we will need new contests in January anyway, along with a new poker promo

i think many loved that

because even if you were around 50th in poker, you still could win at sports and finish very high or opposite way

Very good point imo, forcing people who want to take part to have to participate in poker also when they otherwise might not could only potentially help bring more people into poker.

I actually liked the Triatholon a few years back. i think that I finished about 3rd or so in it. I was pretty good in the blackjack portion
