Most ridiculous suckout to win a tourney
I see Stryder is at the top of the leaderboard for the SBR poker main event

If he's running like this I see why

    I had a 50070 to 930 chip lead

Seat 1 (playing) : Stryder, amount $930, amount bet $0, penalty (None)
Seat 6 (playing) : dlowilly, amount $50070, amount bet $0, penalty (None)
    dlowilly: Small Blind ($600)
    Stryder: Big Blind ($855)

Guy won 3 straight hands being the underdog when the money got in, and constantly folded earlier to preflop raises when the odds were a must call. Guy won pretty much every flopped hand after that and won the tourney. Weird weird stuff

That was one of the best heads-up matches I've ever had. I did get lucky on a few hands, but that's what it takes to win tournaments! Good game, dlowilly. Thanks for an epic heads-up battle!

If you don't know that the shittiest hand sucks out on 80% of the all ins, then you will know it soon.

Some idiot went all in with AK yesterday and I had KK, he donked in an ace on the river and then apologized! LOL

I'd pay odds to have the worst on a heads up all in! LOL

2 live cards all in pre, what the fook is this shite?!

This is like kiddie game stuff man c’mon we want the real soul crushing beats.

My worst is about 10 years ago heads up in a wsop main event satellite. 1k sng winner take all for the 10k buyin. Dealt KcKs and 3 bet an oop raise. Flop comes Kh Kd Jd. I call the flop cbet and get it all in on the blank turn. Fukkin guy rolls over AdQd and slams the 10d on the river to leave me with 3 chips.

Shit made me quit poker for months. That’s the type of beat that falls under “ridiculous” status.

We don’t know for sure but word on the street is that Gummo updated stryders database last week and spent all Monday reconfiguring his firmware.

I mean, if you lost from 50k vs 900 HU that's pretty brutal. But showing a single KJ vs QT loss isn't the way to demonstrate it, so I don't know what the point of that was. Undermines the whole thing entirely

These things do happen from time to time though. Even in, gasp, REAL poker tournaments

Well that's a ridiculously awful beat

I should have been more clear

That hand wasn't "the suckout", it was him being down to 900 chips against my 50,070 and winning everything from there on out to win the tourney

Again, you play enough, you see it all - that's poker. I mean he needed to win like what 7-8 allins in a row to win the tourney? The odds of that are maybe between 1/256 to 1/128 - unlikely but far from ridiculous. Again, you play enough and these things will happen - no real point in making a thread everytime something like that occurs...

That hand wasn't particularly awful, just wanted to show he was down to almost nothing and won the tournament. If I posted all the hand histories that miraculously got him there the first post would be very long

dont see the point of posting the hand (60/40) but thats a pretty substantial lead to lose, even if he would have a slightly better hand everytime

I flopped a set of Qs vs set of 5s and got it all in on bovada in a .25/.50 cash game last night. River 5 obv.
