Well no question the decrease in daily payouts has changed things significantly - more people going nuts early and less action at cash games etc.

I will say that banning flipping probably did help - only reason the omaha h/l games have stayed fairly lively on weekend is probably because people have to play them to clear rollover since they can't flip. And as someone who used to flip, even if I have to put more time into clearing, it's definitely been good for me from the perspective of how many points I net since I've been winning fairly consistently at the omaha h/l games.

I'm not playing until the World Cup is over. There hasn't been enough cash game action to make it worthwhile and the low payouts on the dailies aren't worth playing in.

I'll just wait until the donkeys have to roll over their World Cup points then I'll take them away from them.

I had same thought mpaschal34. But I'm not safe for qualifying at this stage so I have to at least care a little bit for awhile. But if I get to the point where I am definitely going to make it will be happy to start doing this with you every day (assuming we are at same starting table!). No real use playing for these pennies once my World Cup spot is safe (again assuming that even happens at all!).

Good job mpaschal! Only wish pretty much everyone would do this - say cut the tournament down to 50% of the people from the start, each player then "starting" with 3000. Would make things a lot better in every way (less time wasted for those out, and those still in get better play with the higher stacks and obviously cash more often).

As I said, if I manage to lock up a spot, I plan to join you in this endeavor! I fear others will not though...
