What's your worst beat on sbr poker?
SBR poker is a cruel mistress and no player or hand is safe. What's the baddest beat you've ever had? Mine came today against Goatman. I had kk he had 55. i raised preflop he calls. flop comes a 5 and a couple other low cards no straight or flush draws. He's shortstacked so I bet enough to put him all in and he calls. Turn card is a king and I start rejoicing think sbr has done what it normally does (rewards player with lower win pct on an all in). River is another 5 and I bust out a few hands later.
My hat is off to ya, cheers Goatman

Small silver lining was seeing waves get knocked out right before me by pocket aa's when he tried to slowroll top pair

In this hand I was semi short stacked on the button with 2 tight players to act. I had 85 off and tried to pick up the blinds and antes. I was called by BB with JJ, and their jacks held up.

4th on wednesday and 1st yesterday but those are my only cashes, ive probably missed 5-10 days worth of games though but still need to string some more wins together to have a chance of making the conf team, saw youre still on the bubble though so im sure you'll get hot again soon. When I've played on weekends I've been hot wasting my luck there lol

Last week I have 4400 chips, Betunderdogs has 3900 chips. I'm in the BB (300), Betunderdogs is SB, everyone folds around table except Betsunderdogs who raises to 600. I have pocket KK, so I know only way I'm behind is if he has pocket AA. I take a chance to steal his 600 by just going all in, he snap calls me and turns over a damn 3 & 6. I was laughing till the flop turned over another 3 & 6. I'm a firm believer that you just can't beat stupid on that poker site.

That's brutal, sometimes I'm convinced there is just some sicko controlling the board messing with us. Some would say sbr poker is like the field of dreams. If you call it, the cards will come...

seems like every time 2 people are all in the turn will give the person behind outs, rarely i see somebody drawing dead after the turn

I am convinced that if you dealt all cards face up, someone with a KQ suited would call AA. Furthermore, if the AA flopped a set and the caller had a flush draw, they go all in.

Not everyone plays this poorly but there are a surprising number who do. I think these players are the ones that give the rest a bad beat story that is simply ridiculous.

                        Pot Odds be damned.

I believe it, was playing heads up against an unnamed player earlier and he shoved all in preflop w random mid cards and j3 at the end like 4x in a row and kept reloading and doing it again

Not everyone plays this poorly but there are a surprising number who do. I think these players are the ones that give the rest a bad beat story that is simply ridiculous.

Seeing this crap on a daily basis ruins your thought process when you play live. I was in a cheap tournament in Bally's in AC last night. 11 people left, pays top 9. I'm sitting there with 300k in chips watching 10k/20k blind go round and round, five player table. I'm first to act. I raise to 40k with KJ suited, everyone folds then BB pushes his stack, 79k to call. I call, he has KK, I pretty much donked off 40% of my stack.

Next hand I'm the BB KQ off, button raises me to 40k, I call. Flop comes down K 9 2. I bet 60k, she pushes all in, has me covered. I toss in my last +60k she has trip deuces. Done.

In hindsight I feel that with over 300k I should have just parked and waited for final table, the frustration of watching 11 people last so damn long with nothing but position raises and folds got to me. Effin pissed!

You really are a genius waves, I have over 900 points in the sbr sportsbook (again, not bragging, just pointing out your stupidity in saying I have 8 or 11)

So you think your success in a much shorter time period i.e. the world cup so far proves you are a better poker player? that directly contradicts your assertion of my success being attributed to newbie luck. I've missed 5+ days of even participating in the world cup but cashed twice this past week so am up to 375 points so not very far behind you. I went months without cashing when I first started playing here last year because I didn't know what I was doing but thanks to experience and watching some good posters (jake, arunsh, mpaschal, chucky, bigo etc) play here I've greatly improved my game. Have I gotten lucky? sure, but that's part of poker. It certainly isn't newbie luck otherwise I would have played much better from the start. Being that you are not even listed on the yearly standings (and also finished well behind me in the last promo qualification standings), you do not have a lot to offer me as far as online poker skill goes

I genuinely feel sorry for you, it is really sad that someone of your abysmal intelligence level can be so proud and lack basic understanding and reason.

As others have pointed out on other posts, you seem to just keep spouting off nonsense until the other poster gives up, leading you to believe you "won" the argument

I can't promise I won't keep messing with you because it does provide entertainment, but for now I'm going to let this one go

                                                              Have a nice day
