Definitely not trying to get in the middle of this, but I will say BW is one of the most consistent players year after year. Both cashes and leaderboard. He may not be well liked but this statement couldn’t be further from the truth.

Saw it going on right away while I was waiting to play Rudy. Both bought in for the same amount, moved allin. Guy lost, reloaded, moved allin again. Lost, reloaded, and moved allin again till one player had a little over 1000 in chips. Than the guy reloaded again and the dude with the bigger stack than purposely lost till they had an even stack and than they got up and left.

So they were flipping to clear rollover, but they decided no matter the results, they were going to even it out and split it 50/50.

I flipped with several active players, including Basement once upon a time. Mainly when tables are dead or I need my poker points for a bet, loan payback etc.. I really see nothing strange.

Why not just check their balances before and after? Seems to be the most logical way instead of what one person thinks. Chip dumping is the easiest thing to catch by looking at balances, especially the way Rudy is describing.

SBR_Forum has said before that it's fine to flip. No need to take it to extremes and just dump all the chips to one account though.

But there was also a connection between these two, on top of the dumping.

From what I see stated, this is more of a them doing flipping very lazily (to make it the quickest) and then evening up. The evening up part is what is not allowed. If you are truly just flipping, then the outcome is whatever is the outcome and while it is against the spirit of why SBR has rollover requirements, it is allowed by SBR.

If it is chip dumping as Rudy originally pointed out, that is also very clearly not allowed and SBR would put a stop to it. Given the responses from Shari and Opti, I think all is good now.

Good job on Rudy pointing it out, we all need try and keep our SBR community on the up and up.

This is not about "ratting-out" like bonzaii notes. If we allow the poker room to get out of hand and we turn a blind eye to obvious skirting of the rules, then it will eventually be stopped permanently by SBR as the cost-benefit of having to police it more actively will outweigh the advantages of keeping.

Plus, what is wrong with following the rules of a (near) free site that gives lots of benefits???
