Yeah its the same network but now you can bet sports and play poker all from Bovada which is nice. They just gave me some reward points that you can redeem for cash so check to see if you have any.
Bovada is all about you Winning Big! Learn more about our promotions like Bitcoin Welcome Bonus, Refer a Friend, Reward Points & More. Join Today for a Bonus!
Does that mean it's better to play at Bovado over Ignition?

Actually, I think those rewards are for sports and the casino. I don't think they have anything to do with poker, but I could be wrong.

I had some points myself. They arent starting everyone at the bottom of rewards FWIW either. I was on level 2 legend and I rarely have played there lately.
You can get cash back on losses and points for bets.
If you bet 110 to win 100 on a game you would get 1000 points, depending on what level you are on is how much thats worth.
Basically, they have copied a retail rewards program model.

After many years playing Bodog, i only will play live, only freerolls online.
The new soft really sucks, players at the mercy of the program as you can not select a table or see who is who, something that is an essential part of playing poker.
Bodog/bovada/ignition, also, never control BOT or collusion that is a big part of the problem, and, furthermore, I had many instances where I can even predict the bad beat happening, in fact, players will enjoy 3 winning sessions and 10 loosing or brake even sessions before go broke, a regular event with the new software, in fact, many players think that the house has his own ghost players in PLO where is a lot of action, and in some mid stakes.

So when I called them about how u start off with a level as I started off as a legend too ...they said they went back from years of play from people and it was based off of poker points people accumulated during those years...it actually is a pretty solid rewards system they are doing.....

True not a fan of how now they dont let u sitdown where u want or what table but its the same as ignition .....but payouts are way better from Bovada than they are thru Ignition

KIDK, I recall you from playing many final tables in Bodog, before they changed to the anonymous system, in fact we did play about 3 finals where you took 2 first and I took 1.
Great playing with you, and keep up the posting.

I do think its a good system, but it says sports and casino only. I guess they are still doing poker points.

Yes they are still doing poker points ....wonder if they will bring back all the promos like they use to have or not ? They need to bring back that monthly match reload bonus for poker!

Rewards seems very generous. 10 points per $1 for straight bets and 30 points for parlays.
Could get up to a high percentage cash back pretty fast

I'd guess legal liability reasons. Assuming Bovada still no longer actually own a poker operation and are now just running a service from Ignition.

You has described the involution of the Bodog software in an old post as Downgrade every time they did an upgrade.

Mike, this are bodog/bovada posters, the only reason they show up is to try to discredit some players. the fact still the same, you or anyone can find this conversation in 2+2. Cardschat, pocket 5 etc.

Only ever played at full tilt (and SBR) for online and I bet with a local. Would this be the best option for a US player online?
