Could you make this fold?

Saw this hand in the WSOP Main Event updates and couldn't believe it. How nitty I can't imagine making this fold getting 3:1


According to Kyle Bowker, on a board reading Ks 9s 7x 7x Js Bowker bets 40k into a 40k pot then faces an all-in bet of 100,000 from his opponent. Bowker went deep into the tank and eventually had a clock called on him.
Before the clock hit zero, Bowker folded and showed 7s 7x for turned quads. His opponent won the pot and the table began to discuss Bowker's huge fold.

I am confused. he puts the guy on straight flush? I guess I am just a bad player. I just walk away if my quad 7 is no good. I have folded AK on SBR poker a few times but can't imagine walking away from quads

He didn't actually make that fold. The reporter got it wrong or it was reported incorrectly.

Edit: Apparently he did make the fold. He commented for an article about the hand on Cardplayer.com

Even if you're beat, Quads losing to Str-Flush is equivalent to Bad Beat Jackpot at any casino.
