    New and Confused
    Hi all,
Im new to the site. So, please forgive me if I get a few things wrong and feel free to correct any mistakes. From what I understand non-pro poker players can only clear points they win in the daily tournaments at one table. However, I never see any players at this table. There have to be other non-pro players, like me, testing the site out before going pro right? Also, why is it that non-pro's cannot play in the Omaha games offered on the weekend? Since there's really no way for us to clear points. To an extent I understand. The less there is to do as non-pro the more we may feel obliged to enter. On the other end there is so few for us to do that it may deter many people. Just my thoughts

Amy....you won't get many responses here because most people on SBR don't know how to talk to girls.

      Hi Amy,

Welcome to the forum!! We have a nice poker community here. My best advice for you is to go PRO. It is well worth it and you will get much more out of your time here if you do so. See you at the tables!

even if you clear your points, as a non-pro, they are worthless. you cannot use them anywhere, (except to buy a baseball cap).
so your best option is to go pro as soon as possible. then you can clear your points and use them in the sbr store or in the sportsbook.
keep in mind that you will lose any points over 3000 in your account when you become pro.

I'll be non-pro in 9 days, so we can hang out at the losers table together.

I would have to charge her $744/month rent. Since servicing Waves is a privilege, there's obviously no discount in the rent.

Living with me wouldn't be in Amy's best interest, as she would lose her SBR account. There's only 1 account allowed per household.

An amusing community at least! Thanks for the responses. I understand it would be more beneficial to go pro. My thoughts were wouldn't it attract more people if they could earn some points and play with others first? Coughing up $100 and not really knowing how the system works is scurry. Yes, I am cheap and definitely not a poker pro Playing in the tourneys is fun for sure but I would like a feel for how hard, fun, and/or annoying clearing points is at cash tables. I don't have much experience playing cash tables just tournaments.
