How about we find an alternative way to settle, a tiebreaker? (this would be applied only to the two (three?) teams that score the highest of the group)

To be fair, I'll let you choose of the following two:
a) team with the most 1st place finishes wins (so 1st +3rd would beat 2nd+2nd)
or
b) team that makes the latest score of the day wins (if both score in the same tournament, obviously tiebreaker goes to the team who places first in that, the last of relevant tournaments of the day)

A) is more conventional (I remember the times when soccer used to award only 2 points for a win, but they switched to 3 points a decade ago)

B) is completely unbiased (and thus fair) because we still have half the tournaments to be played

Again, I just want to gamble. Feel free to check the completed tournaments but I'm sure you have better things to do The fact you get to choose the tiebreaker should show I am being straightforward here.
