Do u have to be pro to play poker or can u play in these events reguardless of ur pro status? I understand u must be a pro by April to win the triathlon but can I still compete in all the events without being pro? I

non-pros can play poker tournaments.

I wasn't involved last year. Have only been in a few dailies here so forgive my ignorance but how are poker points counted? i.e. is it just first place finishes? Total cashes (assuming they have those in these tournys to?)

Just trying to figure out how final poker rankings are determined - thanks in advance to whoever can explain this!

placing in a poker tournament gives 600 for first, 400 for second, etc.

the players are ranked at the end based on how many poker points they won in total during the contest. Number of first places or number of cashes does not determine the rankings.

I think it's total points won throughout, including the grand finale. Only difference is that tourney awards more points than the dailies.

How come we have to pay 10 points to compete in the poker portion but, we don't have to pay 1 or 2 Betpoints per Hoops wager?
This fukkin contest is gonna cost me over 1000 points by the time it's over.
Was told I couldn't use Bet DSI to go Pro, even though I've never deposited there before & signed up through SBR link.

use your daily sign in pts to play poker; the extra 2 per day should ad up to what you almost need to play blackjack. assuming you cash in, say, one or two of the fifty or so trnys you play and then if you can manage to roll over one of the two or three cashes you have, your set! On second thought, you better find a backer......

I'm curious what's the best strategy to win B.J. events. I'm guessing to click as fast as possible and hope to get lucky...

I'm just wondering if it's better to go for more wild lines to try and build up points more??? I don't know... Like doubling 8's or splitting 10's???

Was wondering what your guys thoughts were.... I don't mind losing a lot of points, but I want to make more risks to maybe get lucky to build the biggest roll to win a tournament. What do you guys think?

My exp with sbr blackjack has been a lot like pavy's and others on here.... now, rather than waste time in the SBR Casino, I just email cust serv and tell them delete my betspts balance and make it zero. saves me a bunch of time and profanities!

my understanding is that the poker finale is separate from the tri contest but its based on your daily standings.

it would be nice if they announced the prizes for the poker championship though.
