Big Blind vs Small Blind that's an insta-call for sure bobby, especially given you had a huge stack. When I saw the cards, I assumed you were being nice to him, trying to give someone else a chance to bust before you called him. Rather surprised to hear that you were legitimately thinking about it...

I knew Tat was on the bubble, so waiting for someone else to bust played into it as well. But mainly I'm a conservative player, otherwise I wouldn't have 103 cashes. I try to avoid coin flips as much as possible, especially when the software seems to favor certain players.

Bobby purely as a function of poker dialogue I'll engage. I promise you I didn't really have hard feelings about it. Was said in jest.

You had 5700 or so chips and 300 invested in the big blind. It was folded around to me in the small blind and I shoved my small stack. You had to call 700+ which would have left you with 5K (worst case if you lose a flip).

So you're getting almost 2/1 on your money to call a shove from the small stack small blind and you're sitting there with A8 off suit. You are absolutely dominating my shoving range in that situation. Honestly you probably should be calling with J9ish or better there and, honestly, based on the pot odds and my range any 2 halfway decent cards.

With A8 there it's an instacall sorry pal I got you but good luck call.
