Looking to set up a game, 1k buy in , 10 players, winner walks w/ 10k

Something like this only really works with increasing blinds, unless you want to potentially sit and play for 48 hours straight, which the software wouldnt support unless you could get permission for SBR to set up a special tourney?

The way the rake works around here the winner will walk away with about 9000.

Would be interested in something like this, but only if a mixed game and not just nlhe (we could do it on a play money table on another site that has 8 or 10 game mix)

With the play around here, this will last 1 hour tops.

Play 1/2 or .50/1 and transfer the rest of the 1k to someone. The winner would get the rest xfered to him. It'd save on rake otherwise the big winner here is SBR

Why pay rake at all? Any other random site will have play money tables.

Just start a thread with a tourney director that admins the game. Hole cards are pmed to the players, flops are posted in thread, action is posted in thread. After a showdown the director shows hole cards of players. No rake and loyalty posting points.

I would play, but it would take forever. I mean after 7 people are out for instance, the stack sizes would be like 5000, 3000 and 2000. But the blind is still 5/10

People have already downloaded sbr poker and have a comfort level with the software. Ideally the play money table would be the way to go, but I don't think either will get rolling. Maybe I'm wrong tho..
