poker full?

In order to win prizes of this contest, everyone has to play in the hoop contest and poker. SBR is sharp by combining these contests together, so you can't just play one and win prizes.

actually, more people started playing poker a few months ago. Lot of non-pros and new people.

Also, SBR for some strange reason dropped the limit to 46, meaning every tournament is filling, often 10-20 minutes before it starts.

Cutting it down to 6 Pts also adding into it.

Can play a tourney and also throw 6pts on a crazy 10 teamer.

Yeah, what's the deal with dropping the entries to 46 instead of the normal 50 we had in the past? Makes no sense, since more people are playing now!

You win prizes for the basketball one in addition to points towards the triathlon. And I think it was refresh that showed us MAC users how to set up poker easy, so that allowed a lot of new players./

really dumb move to make these 46 player tournaments, they had to know that more guys were playing because of the triathlon.

Isn't registration open 3-4 hours before the tourney? Just sayin...

its due to the buy-in being only 6 points. Non pros can now play everyday with their free 6 points hence more non-pros in these tournies.

Ya i understand it is more than enough time, but i usually wait until i have free time than sign up right before hand. I use to be able to wait for people to unregister but it doesnt seem like people are giving up their spots. Im not saying anything needs to change, just making an observation.

got in, what a waste of time the program is set for a time limit so unless you catch early and then play tight you have zero chance. it is set to get rid of people so it lets the biggest stack catch constantly

Making the entry fee 6 points instead of 11 is what did it.

If the limit was reset to 50 players, then all of the tournaments would still be full. All of the NONPROS can play everyday now that the limit was only 6 points. I would actually rather see the entry fee at 10 points because of that

The switch to 6 pts was a smart thing for sbr to do. A non pro can play every day. More non pros playing regularly will lead to more becoming pro as they win points, do the rollover and learn the only way to benefit from the points is to go pro.

We need to increase the buyin to like 10 points each to keep some of the nonpros out.

Maybe some of them will actually pony up the $200 and become pro just to keep playing. As it is, they can play everyday until late March and I believe that they can still play after that! They just wont be eligible for the leaderboard. But they will still be able to play.

SBR should increase the buyin and thus a few more nonpros will join
