u must not of read it right. We won't be paid anytime soon

Why would stars buy tilt if americans can't play at tilt???

If poker ever becomes legalized they will get the american players for free

tt it seems as though your brain isn't big enough to comprehend the deals made by businesses and our government. do you think pokerstars is dumb enough to buy all that debt if they couldn't somehow benefit from forking out the money? if fulltilt can't reenter the market, obviously they themselves will somehow no? is that so hard to understand?

or pokerstars will monopolize the rest of the world market by reentering fulltilt poker outside the us. regardless, there is a good reason why pokerstars bought fulltilt. but if this really is true, we'll receive our money sooner than never.

no there is not good reason and the sites are ran by idiots.

Why have tilt reenter outside the usa when they already have those players.

i feel so sick for fulltilt players. i was luckily exclusively on pokerstars. received my 3.4k within 6 weeks of black friday. lot of guys have 6 figures stuck in cyber space. they should have at least paid out the small guys. 90% were small time with 10k or less.

yeah you can blame the doj for that. like you said, 90-95% of the people shoulda got paid but how can you pay some and leave the others hanging even if it's only 5-10%?

This is the big reason why Stars is looking into buying FT.

I just can't see FT coming back into the market under the same name.

im not saying dont pay the 10% highrollers, but they should have taken care of 90% of their clients immediately. that would have helped a ton of people and shown a sign of good faith. then, start to work on the 10% as time went on. everyone deserves to get paid, whether you had $25 or 2.1 million. the 1% of the players that had 7 figures have seemed to sustain their high living styles.

anyone have odds on a timeframe? Im thinking something like:

                            +200 within the next year.
                            +150 2-3 years .
                            +Ev within 5 years.

It's better software but it's not worth 300 million which is said to be owed to players, hard to see them paying all that money just to get the software since they really won't pickup any new players. Maybe PS thinks by bailing out FT they will get a pass by the Feds for past acts if and when Poker becomes legal.

i've been following poker legislation for a while now and it's a big mess between who's gonna get what. everyone wants a piece and they can't come up with a solution yet. allegedly there will be a federal law that will eventually pass. it will allow limited companies to apply for gaming licenses before the states decide to do their own thing. if you look at the big picture in why online poker is in the state it's in right now, it makes me sick to my stomach how we are controlled by these greedy bastards.

anyhow, if pokerstar actually pays fulltilt poker players their funds, there's a good chance pokerstars will one day reenter the us market. though most likely, it'll only serve the players from the us...

A lot of poker pros like Ivey, Greenstein, Benyamine owe a lot of money to Full Tilt....you think they'll pay it back

                                          not confirmed yet but...

Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars have reportedly wrapped up a deal that would ensure the payout of $390 million in frozen player funds by the end of 2012.
