This guy will live in horror if he ever regains his sanity and realizes he shot a little baby. How can you shoot a baby, how the **** can you do that? Let's say this guy is messed up because people ridicule him or he feels different, etc. A baby is incapable of opinions, personality, or all but basic emotions.

On the news break they said the baby was a 4mth old shot blank in front of its parents and they were taking him/her? for treatment in the hopes of saving him/her. Of course Opti we're here in Aus so the American guys will know more than us. If there is any goodness in this universe that baby will be ok. Even if I wasn't a parent though, I can't even fathom that. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around what's worse. Reading threads the other night of posters all excited to go see screenings of this movie thinking they could've been in the same position, a baby being shot or the Canadian girl already escaping one shooting only to be killed now.
I wish a secluded island was for sale in the SBR Points Store sometimes

Shari, I think the baby report was false. The news keeps saying the youngest victim was a 6 year old. Obviously still terrible but not a little baby as I first pictured when I heard that.Comment -
I heard yesterday that a 3 month old baby was injured and treated at the hospital and released. The 6 year old did die

"Some of the injured were children, with the youngest a three-month-old baby. Victims were being treated for chemical exposure apparently related to canisters thrown by the gunman.

I wasn't as prophetic but, without watching of the news or reading articles, it was clear the guy would turn out being white after just skimming the first page of this thread...
I'm not sure why but as soon as I heard this story this morning I knew this mother fukker was white. I had actually assumed he was a teenage emo dude getting bullied at school until they explained he was a college medical student.
Every country I've lived in other than the US has way stricter gun laws. And this psycho shit still happens. If someone is a sicko, they're sick. If they want a gun or 10 or tear gas or bombs, they'll get it regardless of legislation or where they live. Look at Norway and that guy who killed all the kids last year. I never felt scared when living in the US of someone shooting me. Because I didn't willingly put myself in the position to be shot. I don't burgle, car jack, rape, try to fight people, etc. If it happened randomly, ok I have crappy luck, but that could happen anywhere.
It shouldn't be turned into a freedom to bear arms debate (and I'm one who loves Canada's way of going about it more than the US). This guy shot a baby point blank. That says it all. He is a deranged piece of shit who should rot. It has nothing to do with amendments, laws or anything else.
