I don't know how anybody can bet a HUGE amount of money on a single game against the best goalie in the league during the NHL playoffs. The Devils could completely outplay the Rangers and still lose. Bryz and a banged up Flyers defensive core made the Devils look better than they really are.

A little after 1pm , Heritage opened Rangers -135 / Devils +115. Almost immediately, it went to -130/+110.

Even though shots on goal and assorted stats might show otherwise, I agree the Devils had the Rangers on their heels in the first two periods. It's a 60 minute game though, and the Rangers dominated the 3rd period.

This is not a game that I would have a lot of confidence in on either side. I lean towards the Devils, but witnessed absolutely nothing that would warrant a huge or multi-unit play.

I like the Kings a lot tonight. They need to play the game, but I saw nothing by the Coyotes to deter me from a multi-unit play on the Kings. Yes, the Coyotes will be desperate, home ice and Smith is a beast, but I'll keep riding the Kings until I lose.
