Also if you go +5 units do you get more money than someone who goes +1 unit and still beats the prick, or is it distributed evenly?

BTP standings for week one will be viewable on Tuesday. The contest site is being upgraded this week (by Friday) so that the BTP page will contain the following:
- Live Weekly Leaderboard
- Season Standings Update Weekly
- View All Players' Picks for Current Week
- Live BTP Consensus Picks Each Week
- Leave A Message for The Prick
As for the prize structure, according to the BTP Rules and Prize Information on SBRcontests.com ...
• The Beat The Prick football handicapping contest offers a weekly prize pool of $5000 USD, to be split amongst all contestants who score higher than The Prick for that week.
• 100% of the weekly prize pool will be prorated amongst all players who actually Beat The Prick that week. The prize amounts will be weighted fairly so that winning contestants scoring more points will receive a larger portion of the pool than players scoring less points that week.Comment -
If I may make a suggestion: it would be a good idea if the poster, SBR Contests, would monitor SBR's "Sports Handicapping Contests" forums.
Questions/requests/discussion comes up there all the time that would be helped by some official input.Comment
