I typically try to avoid Week 17.

Possibly Dallas if you have the balls and can get them at +3.5.

It went to +4.5 and I almost grabbed it -- now it's back to +3.5. Someone's trying to nail the middle at 4. Knowing the history with MAC games/teams, it'll probably happen.

A couple of other plays you might want to look at line-wise:

Buffalo +9 in college hoops
Utah +12 in NBA

Colorado State might be worth a play as well. UTEP coming back from Hawaii. That's why I'm strongly considering Villanova.

I am new to looking at lines and analyzing key spread numbers but one thing I did notice early in my studies is that the NFC East is WAY too unpredictable.

Despite being outscored by 24 points from 3 point land and 5 points from the free throw line, Memphis had a shot at the cover. My biggest play of the day was Memphis +1.5 and I thought I was going to get a miracle cover after the Randolph 3 with 1 second to go. Tough night shooting for both teams.

Cal is doing nothing to combat the pass rush. Making no adjustments whatsoever. I should say Maynard and Tedford are choking; Cal goes from having the ball down 4 in Texas territory to being down 11 in about 20 seconds flat thanks to this joke of a QB.

Texas' defense is good -- don't get me wrong. Maynard's making them look like the Steel Curtain. You don't have to just stand back there and get sacked every time you drop back.

I was on that too Pauly, but Cal played really well down the stretch of the season.

I've seen Texas play quite a few times. Actually, I've seen both of these teams play quite a few times. I'd take the +4 again if I could. You can't turn the ball over 4 times and expect to cover. Texas' defense deserves credit no doubt, but a lot of the mistakes Cal made were self-inflicted.
